official theme song for the game??

They need to acquire the rights of Mk techno syndrome and use it as the games official theme song. There was no theme song in mk9.

Heres what i would do mix both these songs and always play it whenever a moment of hope comes up throughout storyline.

Enya - Boadicea

2pac - ambitions as a ridah

A ridah is someone who loves to go to war is down for pretty much anything. Boadicea was a queen who led an uprising against the roman empire, so she can be called a ridah. So this song should be called ambitions as boadicea as they both go hand in hand. Or you can keep them apart so play ambitions as a ridah whenever there is someone who is owning the others. And play Boadicea whenever there's a moment of fear.

I agree with this. If you watched the MK movies they had better music than any of the Mortal Kombat games.

They need to get some better video game music composer. They should get Skrillex to just do the soundtrack for the next MK game.

I agree with techno. Mk needs more edm but apparently it doesn't fit with dark theme Mk has.

That's a pretty nice track. But i still want more edm.

It could fit. They could just make the techno more fitting with it. MK theme sure fitted well and Control(Reptile's theme) so I think it would work really well. I think Dubstep would work pretty well too. Even something like Korn Work would work really well with MK (you know how Metal and Electro music were fused together)

It can easily be done though, I mean Skrillex's Reptile was done really well enough. And a lot of the soundtracks from the MK movies were really enjoyable and fitting. They could easily combine both metal and dubstep/techno similar how with what KoRn did.

It's just my opinion but I find MK fights to go best with a hybrid of metal/rock with techno.

I know this is a main theme thread and I by no means think this should be the main theme.


If by main theme you mean title screen something subtle is fine.


But fight scene wise I'd personally like it if they mixed rock/techno.

My favorite MK fight song thats canon in the games is the Subway Theme.

MK doesn't need techno, it never had techno, even the music in the original movie was eurodance most of the time rather than techno. The current subtle musical style is perfect for a fighting game, it's a horrible idea to use high tempo stuff for the actual gameplay.

This man speaks sense. Non of this dubstepping hipster shite, just good old fashioned metal.

I appreciate most music forms but dubstep and modern rnb is just crap. It must not be used in an MK game ever. I just do not get it. I feel people force themselves to like it because its the only new form of music that they feel can define their generation.
But you like what you like at the end of the day.
