Hmm... I don't know about those things. They look like they wouldn't be too comfortable to play, and I can't even imagine what that D-pad feels like. They'd have to be decent if Capcom licensed them, but still...
 
The D-pads look awful on those controllers. I'm with Pat, PS3 for me. Although I need a new PS3 controller too, because my circle button sticks.
 
Did you just say the S word? You're right. That'd be great for me. I don't know what's up with most companies today, but as far as I'm concerned, Sega knew how to make a D-pad. How did it become cool to leave out actual built-in diagonals?

If you get a PS3, SEGA makes a Saturn USB pad that is compatble with the PS3 ;)
 
Get the **** out! Awesome. I can't imagine choosing a console based on a controller, but that is very good to know.
 
Dunno from what I've heard and seen of Home, it looks like useless crap. I'd probably never use it. It reminds me of Second Life.

Also I've read that the Saturn USB Pad is not as good of a DPad as the original Saturn pads. Going to find a converter to see if that works with the PS3.

The USB Saturn pad doesnt need a converter. Its compat. But I never had a Saturn. Pretty much the only SEGA system I ever had was the Dreamcast (aka the best and most underrated game system in history!:D)
 
No what I was saying is the special "USB Saturn Pad" is not the same as the awesome Saturn Pad, the DPad is different from what I read. I have two Saturn Pads for the real Saturn here at home. I'll get a converter to USB for those if I can find it for sale anywhere anymore.
 
Yeah, I tried my 360 pad on it. Unsurprisingly that didn't work. I need a new pad and the PS2 pads don't have a PS button. I'm not shelling out for a DS3 and I'm not settling for a 3rd party pad. Might try and find another 6A on ebay.

You would need a converter to use a PS2 pad. They are out there, but they can be pricey too. The DS3's are worth it tho. 6A + DS = DS3.
 
Microsoft better bloody ante-up and release those upgraded 360 controllers stateside when SFIV drops.

I'd rather not waste time bidding on an import on Ebay.

Yeah, I have one of those, mainly for playing on my PC but it does work fine on PS3. I use it for player 2 though, without the PS button and 6A feature it's a pretty worthless primary controller. My circle button sticks on the 6A, but when a DS3 costs the same as a newly released game, I know which gets my vote.
 
Chun Li and Zangief sackboy/girl are AMAZING. Ryu and Guile...meh, not so much. Those other ones tho, ADORABLE!
