I thought Cammy was in the game. Maybe I'm wrong.
I'm using the term "clone" a bit loosely, but yeah, basically I just mean "characters who have a fireball, dragon punch and hurricane kick".

Akuma's super is pretty weak. I hate that cutaway nonsense. It became a popular trend in mainstream fighting games only after anime fighters used it to death.

Yeah but only in the arcade versions...you gotta hack the boards, etc. or just use a ROM emulator, etc.

Yeah, for the most part. But each "SF male ninja" as I call them, are very unique just as the real MK male ninjas are.

Ah crap, I was just kidding too. I think the irony of Dan's existence has about run its course. What possible reason could they have for including him in this game? I mean come on, he's intentionally the worst character in the series.

Apparantly according to SF canon (yes they are telling the SF storyline and making it deeper like the MK storyline) Dan was also a student of Gouken (hence his ponytail and one armed fireball) but Gouken saw that Dan just wanted revenge for Sagat (sagat lost his eye due to the fight with Dan's father) killing his father so that Gouken only taught roughly half of what he knows about martial arts to Dan.
