You know guys, honestly. I just want this franchise to stay strong for a long time and I want them to keep pumping out DLC as much as they can so I'm gonna buy everything they throw at us regardless of what or how much it is. I dont want them to wait until next game to give us the better shit. I have a feeling if their DLC sells well and stays popular, they will give us stuff like Brutalities,Vs CPU and Survivor mode,Friendships,etc..

You are right. I will buy everything, excepting if its Kobra, Shujinko or Mavado lol, to support NRS so they can realese more things.

Ok and smoke and noob fan will tell you this, How can a tiny smoke cloud teleport you? How the hell can a shadow tackle you? and now examples of 2 character i dont like Sindel and Sonya how can a yell explote your head? and how can a "kiss" stun you?

Yes, I know this is MK and that not everything should be uber-realistic, but there are boundaries. You don't want a character with the power of throwing rainbow balls don't you? How about a character who can tear off his own leg and use it to squirt endless amount of blood at you?

It's not only the fact that it's not realistic, just the sheer cheesiness of throwing blood at your opponent. I would love to be able to throw fireballs, freeze acid, control electricity, etc. But tell me what exactly is appealing about throwing blood at people?

Rain throws water, wow be careful you will get wet.... Is the same thing man... but with blood, what is wrong with it?
If it teases you so much, imagine that she borrowed the green orb to Johnny Cage and she turned it red, think is not blood, is just energy.

Difference is Rain doesn't have a water ball special move, he uses his power of water to complement his kombat skills. I would feel the same way with Rain if he had a special move where he merely threw a water ball, or Smoke if he threw a bunch of smoke at you as a special move.

And it being a red energy orb sounds better than being a ball of blood, but even then, I wouldn't really like it because we would have yet another kombatant who could fire a concentrated ball of colored energy at you.

No. It was individual when it was a subtle hint, not when it's friggin' plastered on every part of the character.

Yeah, because Sub-Zero never used a blue costume because of his ice powers and Reptile never used a green costume due to being a... Green reptile.

Having Skarlet be a red-haired, red-costumed, blood fiend NAMED AFTER THE COLOR OF BLOOD just is beyond repetitive, uninspired and quite frankly annoys me...I just like to believe the MK population is smarter than NRS gives us credit for, but maybe not.

I don't really see why you're complaining Sub-Zero in Deception now. He's not like that in MK9 (except I think his human form had ice breath, but he's a cyborg now). They've been doing this sort of stuff for a while now; now and here is not a place to complain about it.

Did you expect Skarlet to be blonde with a pink outfit? And she was named Skarlet because that's what the fans called when she was only a programming glitch in MK2, not because of the color of the blood.

I like her more than I did before. I really didn't care for her earlier. Now that I have seen the trailer I like the little unique touch they gave her with her blood related moves. Makes a lot of since since her name is Skarlett. I am pretty interested in seeing how she fits into the story. I am still a lot more stoked to see Kenshi though.

This, hope they have more characters to release at E3 (Rain - Kenshi) and they keep it secret as usual. Skarlet looks good but if she is more than 400 points i will propably wait for Kenshi or a second costume pack to buy first.

Errrm Rain does throw a water ball, it let's you move the enemy towards you after it hits. Do some research next time.

To me, she looks much more than just 'good' -- I consider her outstanding and thusly will pay whatever NRS asks for her, and if they ever release a 'ultimate' MK9 with Skarlet (and hopefully, Tanya) included on disc, I'd buy that the very second it comes out...

Finally watched the video.

Well, I fell in love for this lady in red since the first time I saw her, so, she confirms to be a very fun and cool character, she will be very nice to play with.

She comes to be one more female in the roster, and I will buy her in the very first day.

I'm a huge defensor of Skarlet , to the point I sound very biased about, but, I am an ultra fan of her, so, yeah, she is incredible and amazing, and sounds great to be in tag team with a lot of others characters.

Her gameplay looks fast, dynamic and with lots of diferent weapons to use together. Sounds like a very strategic character, that come to add even more fun and good aspects to this game.

I give her a 9.5/10, because doesn't exist a 10/10 character (nobody is perfect), so, I am very pleased and glad for NRS and Ed Boon make this lady a real character.

Sure I gonna spend a lot of hours training with her, my tag team dream is Skarlet / Mileena, so, will be a very nice experience explore all possibilities with her moveset / gameplay.

I hope people buy her, even she not being among their favourite, because NRS is doing purposely the fact of releasing her now, it's a signal, an experience, in order to check out the feeback about DLC content, if it's being well accepted by community, so, if Skarlet will be a sucessful DLC content, NRS will know we are giving support for DLC, and, they will be more than happy providing us with more characters, along this year and while we show respect and interesting for this game.

I'm satisfied with her, because I know it's the very , very first time she is playable, and , indeed, a rumour becoming a true MK character, so, I forgive any flaw regarding her, I don't demand perfection and I'm sure she will be a regular character in the next games, where NRS has chance to improve her even more.

I know that move, it's his "Mind Control Orb"; that isn't the kind of water ball I was talking about. It has special properties (moving the opponent towards you for a free hit); it's not just a ball of water that you throw at your foe, you know...

You just seem like a whiner. Perhaps the blood hits them with force and has an effect on them because it is not regular blood.

In one of your comments you mentioned that Skarlet is the first new character for this game, Cyber Sub-Zero is a new character for this game. Start thinking more clearly now on.

The fact that she appears out of blood and can freely warp through it makes me think it's not normal blood. Therefore, there's no problem with that "blood" ball.

I dont like classic costumes, why would I prefer a simple and boring costume over the detailed great outfits that NRS made for this game?... I played MK2 and UMK3 when i was 5 in my Sega Genesis and i was raised with the 2D games but still I dont follow that nostalgic crap. My opinion is no, classic costumes look retarded, but if Ermac recieved one, Skarlet and CyberZero could too.

I like the relatively simple and sleek looking costumes from UMK3. Why? Cannot really say why... maybe because they look more realistic for fighters.

I like MK9's costumes as well, though. The only costumes and character models I am not too fond of, are the overly bulky and stocky looking ones from the 3-D MKs after MK4.

well, her Blood Ball can always be .... coagulated blood, solid enough to hurt on impact, who knows ?
