Well even when NRS gets a patch out to block her (which I have no clue how its going to work since when you downloaded the Compatibility Pack it actually downloaded the Skarlet Pack which are two totally different things, as we all know) you can just use her offline so you do have her for free pretty much. Delete patches, free fighter. Don't play online all the time but with friends? Their you go I guess.

since there is money on the line they(whoever is at fault) will find a way to take skarlet away if you downloaded her free. not only about the money but they will have to hear all the people who paid *****ing and complaining.

I had the same issue. Tried again a few min later and it worked fine. Bought the season pass then downloaded Skarlett, both from the in game store. I think the network is getting slammed, so keep trying.

yea I was actually able to download her before I left for work but didn't have time to update in here.

Don't know if this is still an issue but mods can close

What it was was a glitch. The compatability pack was supposed to let you test out Skarlet in the arcade ladder and stuff. NOT online. But what happened was it also unlocked her online, causing people to get free copies of her.

And to the guy saying it's contributing to a great team. Skarlet was already on the disk, and the compatability and season pass just unlocks her. There was no actual download for me when I downloaded her. It took not even 2 seconds to download her. It took longer to download the classic costumes for Cyrax and Sektor than her... I think it's that everyone is pissed that we are paying for locked on the disk content

I downloaded the Compatibility pack, but somehow i can also play skarlet on training, arcade and online!, I did not download the season pass or skarlett dlc so i seem to have just gotten her for free through some odd glitch. Seriously i don't know how this amazing glitch has happened to me but i'm glad it did (skarlet imo is a great new character game play wise)

I live in Scotland in the UK, i don't know if this is happening to anyone else in the uk

The same thing happened to me this morning in the same way! God I hope there isn't an update and she gets deleted lol. But I hadn't planned on buying her either. I only have 960 points and I was saving them for Rain and Kenshi, she IS a very good character though. I was so happy, this kind of stuff never happens to me.

Could we who downloaded the compatibility pack have somehow gotten Skarlet for free? (Since PS3 got Kratos and all.) I mean, it could be glitch, but it could be intentional. I'm still getting the season pass when I get points, but I'll enjoy using her until I do.

She didnt have a hood ion her alt, though her main is way better so I dont worry about it, but sucks that she doesnt have one anyway.

If she's not wearing pants then it's not much of an alternate anyway. They should've reworked her ending...i would've preferred Kira as her Alternate.. "Skarlett kills Shao Kahn. starts a new life on Earthrealm. changes name to Kira. Joins Black Dragon." Simple right?

The texture of what she is wearing around her neck is consistent with the texture of her hood, being some sort of leather or pseudo-leather material.

Not like it matters, considering this alternate is nonexistent.

Clearly, people want an alternate because her primary isn't that appealing. Now, before we start the whole "she looks like a stripper" discussion, I want to say I have nothing against MK girls being dressed like strippers as long as they stick to their theme. For example, I think Jade looks great. But if an MK girl is wearing a neck scarf and flippin' metal shoulder pads, my wild guess is that she probably wants to be covered up. Why, oh why, would you cover her from the neck up and then dress her in nothing but a thong and high heels from the neck down?

I feel like, even if it hinders the theme, it has become a requirement for an MK girl to be butt naked. If NRS released some girl named Guinevere whose theme is that of a medieval knight, I wouldn't be surprised if she had a full knight's helmet on her head and nothing but a bikini below that.

lmao. Right...I didn't think the female models varied that much but After training with Skarlet, you soon realize that she's anorexic. I like seeing tits and ass, but i like variation too. Ashrah has to be my 2nd favorite female in MK...i loved the fact that she was a demon, a chick not wearing a mask or veil and she was clothed. OOOOOH the suspense of what was under that white clothing...probably tentacles, who knows...it was sexy to me tho.
