They do skank out most of their female characters, true. But they could move past that with a good back story and some original moves. Give her some personality. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.

I think I'm the only one here who's not impressed with her.

Her Fatality had no style and there was nothing special about it.

The X-Ray also wasen't that well done and I'm hoping this was just a hack and not the real Skarlet.

Agreed. MK sluts will be MK sluts. Let's just move past that argument and hope she has an original style of play. Like a long-range zoner with kunais (think Reptile's acid spit) but able to rush with blood-type moves (think Noob's shadow clone).

Love her fatality. Her style reminds me of Noob's, but I think that's mostly because Noob's shadows have the same liquid quality. Still, the female ninjas in this game have grown on me and this is a welcomed addition!

I ill like her anyway.
The only chick I like is Kirana but i think Skarlet would be my second girl... but of only if she has good special moves because if she is another colourful energy throwing character, id pass of her.

I have acquired that leaked dlc, and so far she is pretty nice. Still missing a few things, her uppercuts don't hit or do damage, she throws invisible daggers, with a red trail of light. She doesnt have a bio in the dlc as of yet, but her end story is pretty nice, i'll sum it up in this spoiler :

After she defeats Shao Kahn, she realizes that she was controlled by Quan Chi to destroy Shao Kahn and the netherrealm. She seems to be in favor of Shao Khan, because she is mad at Quan Chi. She absorbs Khan's blood that is on her after the fight, and gains his powers. She goes on to fight and kill Quan Chi, and returns to hiding waiting for Shao Khan's rebirth.


Also, although not an actual character, by modifying the dlc , you can use another character that is titled "dlcbasemale" He's just a dummy wearing shorts, with no moves at all, but when you select him (he has noobsaibot's pictures on VS screen)) the announcer calls him :

If you have that leaked DLC how will you install the complete final DLC when its out? and how will you get rid of the leaked incomplete one?
I would never try that with the hypotecal issues that it could bring.

Well , i will just remove the incomplete dlc , and replace with the complete dlc that's all. You could simply go in the memory option (360) and delete this dlc. Or, i can delete it the same way i installed it, using my computer and ftp connection. But this is not the place to discuss such things, as jtagged consoles, but right now a jtag console is the only way to enjoy playing as the Bosses or classic characters (jade/smoke/reptile/noob) or enjoy this dlc. Its a shame really, the bosses are completely playable (and over powered, but still) and most of their finishers have been found. Goro fatality 1, 2, babality , kintaro fatality 1 and 2 , kahn fatality 1 and babality have all been found.

As long as she only has the ONE Dagger throw move, and a couple of other specials, it should be good.

I'm kind of hoping for the Krypt Teleport that Subzero had in MK vs DCU.


And due to her voice, I am betting we ARE looking at Scorpion's dead wife.... At the very least a specter like Scorpion and Noob. (haven't read the entire thread)

I'd like to see where they go with that angle if it's true. Could tank pretty hard, but it could also do some interesting s--t. It could also tie into the theory I had about her being one of Quan Chi's personal projects, trying to built up a group of warriors to fight with Shinnok until he stops suiting the sorcerer's own purpose. I believe I posted that line of thought in the other Skarlet thread...

I doubt it, Scorpion saw her in the first MK when both were listening to Shang Tsung's torunament presentation, he would do something if she was his resurrected dead wife. But it'd be cool if she is, once Boon said that they would like to feature Scorpion's son in a game so why not his wife. Quan Chi always resurrect warriors as wraiths with some element attached, fire for scorpion, shadow for noob and why not blood for skarlet...

1) Skarletts Face was hidden during that time

2) Scorpion was fixated on Sub Zero at the time

3) Shang Tsung (or Quan Chi) could have had some sort of Glamour Spell cast on her so Scorpion didn't recognize her.

But you do raise a valid point.
