- Her intro is cool, I loved it ! .... Skarlet seems to be a classy act assassin with standards, but merciless and violent when necessary, and not a crazy ***** as Mileena, Skarlet seems more brainy and cold blood, while Mileena is all savage and mindless actions .....

- She comes to help the game to have one more female character. Now , with her , we have 7 , excluding Kratos, and counting only MK characters, we have more or less a 3 : 1 (male : female proportion).

- Her X-Ray is generic, but, not that bad ..... Kung Lao has a pretty generic X-Ray and NRS kept that in final game, so, Skarlet's X-Ray could be changed until the final release, or not .... let's see

- She might possible has relationship with blood element, since Skarlet and red colour are "intimate friends" since her first rumour, so, NRS can use the fact that red and blood are 2 things you see all the time in the game, and make Skarlet take advantage somehow of these elements ......

- Her 1st Fatality is fun, cool idea, it's simple and direct, but, sometimes , simple ideas for Fatality work better than overdone exaggerate Fatalities that sound and end being more laughable than serious stuff ..... for example, Jade 1st Fatality is simple, but fits pretty well with her persona, and I liked, so, this Skarlet Fatality is OK to me. The final touch, the "Blood Bath" is a cool addition, funny sadistic one, loved it !

- I like her outfit, is simple and sexy , and, her 2nd alternate covers more flesh, so, you have 2 options to her , that's nice.

- She will use her kunais as projectiles, her katanas for combos (or maybe 1 or 2 special moves ?) and, since she is a konuichi deadly female ninja, maybe a teleport move (envolving blood pool ?) .... her X-Ray gives tips for , maybe , a rolling ball cannon move, maybe a mix of Kano's and Mileena's roll ball move .... a parry move could be welcome to her as well too.

But they did have the blood splatter on her shoulders and chest in the video. Before she does her fatality, her shoulder pads and her chest barely have any blood on them and afterwards they're splattered in blood. When you look at the fatality video, focus your attention on those two parts of her body and you'll see.

Here is a video from the DLC BASE MALE character. Notice how the announcer calls him ... ;)


You can see even his movements arent correct, as he cannot move forward or backwards constantly, but only by little parts at a time...

Nice, seems like they either have him planned for future DLC, or they had him planned but canceled it.

OMG! Fujin:) this character must have been what they based him on before deciding to develop him further. hopefully they'll release him for dlc after kenshi, skarlett and shinnok. seems that all the announcer voice overs and such may not all be true since fujin even has one one but he didn't end up being in the game, the brutalities probably havn't made the game either.

Badass. Hopefully we'll see his smiling face in some upcoming DLC, he could be pretty cool...

Has there been any word on the presence of Cyrax and Sektor's MK3 duds? I see that they obviously exist, but I was wondering if there was any indication of their potential release...

Definitely looking forward to Skarlett's finished version. I love the fatality but LOL at the babality! I also really like that her powers revolve around blood. I think Skarlett is evil since her leaked ending apparently shows her preferring to serve Shao Kahn rather than Quan Chi.

Can't wait to see what Kenshi is like, too.

Awesome. But there's a question that's been looming in my head:

If no one found these MK3 outfits for Sektor and Cyrax, would NRS have charged us for these later on as DLC, or would they be free? I don't think that they meant to keep the data for the costumes on here (Especially seeing how their classic costumes weren't being offered anywhere), but they're still on the disc. And there's a chance that there's other classic costumes for characters hidden in the data that weren't offered as pre-order bonuses as well. So that would mean that they either kept the data for those costumes in there for some reason (Like I stated above), that they will have the classic costumes as free DLC, or that they simply lied to us about not charging for on-disc content.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question, but Cyrax and Sektor's MK3 costumes aren't on the disc. They were part of the leaked DLC files. They were never on the disc to begin with- unless you consider the Cyrax render in Jade's desert- so NRS charging for this content won't mean any promises are broken.

There is no more "obvious" locked content on the disc. There might be a few more hidden secrets in game, who knows , but no more costumes , fatalities or anything else. The only real locked content on disc are the ninja and female classic costumes, which like a lot of people are saying, will mostlikely be free at one point. The cyrax and sektor costumes are in the Skarlet dlc, and are automatically unlocked when you install skarlet. They are bugged though, they do not work in 1p ladder.

There are actually mentions of the female mk2 costumes, in the game's main .ini file but these files arent present on disc.

Skarlet seems to be another MK slut in high heels. Not very exciting. I wish her specials are at least decent and unique.

But please, change her x-ray, it's nearly identical to Liu Kang's.
