Her X-Ray is obviously not finished. I'm hoping they do some good solid tweaking to it and give it the same spark as the original roster's X-Rays. Maybe get some sword work in there, skewer a few vital organs.

Skarlet's outfit is a bit strange. It looks good except on the waist. Sure it's cool that she shows a lot her legs and buttocks, but it just doesn't feel right. It feels like something is missing. She's sluttier than the ninja girls.

I like her alternate outfit a lot...more than her first one

I can definitely dig her Alternate Costume. I'd never gotten a look at it until now. Thanks for pointing out that it was in that video, I'd always skipped past it before lol.

Skarlet definitely seems to be a love it or leave it character but I think majority of people will like her once she's out. I really like her alternate costume.

Somebody mentioned the theory, she might be an elemental character based off of her intro and fatality, I could definitely see that. I just don't get the vampire connection at all but hey, everyone has opinions..

I get the theory, I'm just not really feeling it. She feels more elemental to me. Her intro has her forming from a puddle of blood and her affinity for blood seems to based more in bathing in it rather than drinking it down. Vampiric Skarlet isn't a far-fetched thought, I just don't think it meshes quite as well as the elemental angle. Honestly, I think I'd be more interested in her being Scorpion's dead wife resurrected as an elemental wraith than the vampiric origins anyway. Just my two cents.

I hope she is an elemental but if you see all the MK's the guys were always the elemental fighters, most of them ninjas, but i dont see how can the blood being used to attack, i really dont see it... anyway i hope they find a way to make her powers based in blood because im so tired of colorful energy throwing fighters...

Add: Her primary is very cool but her alt sucks badly.

She is just perfect to me, and can keep up with Mileena ..... 10/10.

Well its ok you liking it but how can you say its perfect when you never played with her? we didnt see her special moves and the combos and xray we saw may be just generic moves they made to test the model, and maybe they end being totally different. So we really dont know anything about her just her look and she can end being great or sucking like hell. The only thing we can like or not is her outfit and i like it but i cannot say anything about her gameplay yet.

yep, I said that regarding her visual looking, I like her costume, but, we still have to see her gameplay ..... my comment was a bit biased cause I like Skarlet very much, she looks gorgeous , but, there is no perfect character .... everyone have a preferred favourite character almost perfect for their own taste ..... but sure, if you could put your personal touch, a 9/10 character could be a 10/10, hehe

in the end, I love the game and all characters, no hate for any of them.

Want to know a theory I just thought of? A person is said to consist of "the soul, blood, flesh, and bone." Maybe NRS is trying to take those 4 elements and resurrect them from netherrealm in the form of villain characters.

Scorpion- he is the bone. he as resurrected in the form of a skeleton. him taking off his flesh mask to expose his skeleton head in his fatality proves he has no real flesh; he is only bone.

Ermac- he is the soul. he is resurrected as an amalgam of souls from the netherrealm.

Skarlet- is she the blood? maybe she is resurrected from the blood of the victims she killed when she was a mortal. maybe Quan Chi needed an extra warrior and she had a reputation for being a ruthless assassin? I mean, her voice definitely sounds like she's fresh off the boat from netherrealm. and her blood puddle powers definitely tell me she's more than a vampire.

The flesh? I don't know.. Meat coming in MK10?
