Kenshi is fantastic, his speed and his advantage with the sword on a 2D plane is going to make him a fan favorite in no time. My only trepidation is his costume, I hope they lean towards the classic samurai and not the senseless futuristic ninja.

Kenshi is the only post UMK3 fighter, that, I think is interesting in concept ..... a modern "Zatoichi" kind, that fits perfectly in the current MK 2011. I never played with Kenshi before in none MK game, because the only 3D MK game I played a bit was MK4, after that, I abandoned the franchise, coming back only last year to follow up the MK 2011 news ..... so, I have no idea what expect from him in this new MK ..... but, I will buy him as DLC in the first day, I hope NRS adapt him well in MK 2011 2D environment, the same way they did a wonderful job in adapting Quan Chi.

Im happy that they are making Kenshi more unique in this game by capitalising on his Katana skills. However I do like to see a few of his telekinetic abilities to be included as well for ex a variation of the ermac's teleslam and telegrab, in tribute to his mentor and tele furry which he had in MKD and possibly new katana-telekinetic attacks.

And yes tht hair is pretty messed up, I really hope they dont stick with it.

He looks awesome. I like his MK:DA look more than his MK:D. His hair looks alright, I mean it kould be khanged. But I don't mind it.

Always liked kenshi and his new armor is sick in that picture, although his hair is too Emo looking. At least its not as rediculous as smoke's. I can't even take him seriously with his troll hair.

I like Quan Chi, Bo 'Rai Cho, Havik, Fujin, and Kenshi too. I could think of quite a bit more, just trying to point out that a lot of the 3D era characters had potential, but the games weren't well carried out.

I definitely see the resemblance lol. I do like the armor, not the best but a pretty solid look. His hair though...yeah no. It's just weak.

He looks good and i don't have a problem with the hair but i want to know the same because i remember someone of NRS said that he will look completely different in MK9 (maybe it was only for his moveset i am not sure)
I wonder if they will wait the next E3 to release some gameplay about him, JK!!!

i dont mind the suit that much, but the hair gotts to go tho lol

also i still think he should retain his powers, this is mk not saul calibur, i dont like the weapon factor at all, bring him back the way he was and then some.

yeah and i know we got ermac, but so we did back then to, plus it does not have to have a similar fighting style to ermac at all, theres so much they can do to differinciate from one another.

also please understand english is not my native language, so gramar is not the best, thanks.

I dont really remember deception's konquest mode and I'm probably wrong on this one but....

I had always thought Kenshi got his telekinesis after shang tsung blinded him. His eyesight was gone so his mind had to compensate. I thought Ermac only trained him afterwards and improved his telekinesis.

thanks man. i hope he looks similar to that in the dlc, but nrs did so good with other new costumes that i would be okay with something different

You know what I want to know? I wanna know why Kenshi was at the Outworld tounament. I kan't wait till he komes out for DLC. Hopefully, his bio explains what's he's doing there and his ending tells us his role in MK10.

You're actaully kinda right. He always had them but he just didn't know how to active them. Ermac helped him figure that out with that and helped him out with sensing other people and objects around him.

So if we were to have him now, I don't think he would have his telekinesis in this game.
