Well Hazama in the story mode says Blaze blue so I guess you should go with that. bUt typical american spelling pronunciation rules tell you to say "Blazz blue"

I have another question, sorry lol. What exactly are drives? Are they like supers? I'm trying not to look at too many vids because when I get it I want the experience to be fresh haha (if that makes sense).

In a gag reel Noel (The girl on the far right crying) told litchi her boobs were illegal LOL


@ Mkray: Yeah drive moves are anything you do off of X. or in Xbox's case A.

In the game those buttons are labeled as D.
__B
A __C
__D

Is how it is. Any moves that involve D are drive moves.
 
If you guys get the game make sure you get Extend

It has Calamity Trigger Storyline as well.

Ok so, I'll try to compare it to say, SF terms so I can understand better.

So drive moves are like ex moves, and astral heat's are like supers?

Sorry if the videos explains it; I really try to hold off on viewing footage of a game I plan to play until I actually play it :laugh:
 
Disyortion drives are supers- Astral heats are finishing moves you do when the opponent has low health. Drive moves don't use meter, it basically activates the character's gimmick.

Thats awesome, i'd love to myself but I can't find any English players online so oh well :(

I started playing BlazBlue again. I'm going through Story Mode now I have a TV that is more suitable for modern consoles (text was unreadable with my old TV). It's strange that the voices revert to Japanese at random moments. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, though it does gives an impression that the English localization process was rushed.
 
I wish this game was more popular. I can never find any english players so I can't level up my game because I don't play any real people I don't understand the meta-game or anything. It just sucks because I really want to learn how to play it but I can't because no human competition = no learny

Do you think they should maintain the visual novel approach? I think they could elaborate with art a little more. I like it enough that I don't even need or care about full animated cutscenes. The voice acting makes it alive enough to me.

I've never experienced random japanese in the voice acting. What version are you playing? BBCS2 extend?

There is a UK thread but they'd body me so hard I wouldn't know what I did wrong lol. Oh well it doesn't matter
