Noob Saibot in MK X?

At launch? Not gonna happen.

Maybe as DLC.

Him being the boss wouldn't be that...

Remember the soulnado, we don't know what the hell that thing did to Noob.

Is that celery, or green onion he carries cyro?

Like Greyjoy said no chance at launch. Good chance for dlc tho. Prolly in the top three for mk9 characters.

According to the pokemon wikipedia (I just checked) it is a leek stalk.

LOL I don't think anyone caught the reference, it was a bit farfetched to be honest.

Oh no, I caught it. Lol. It was a good one, I can see many people not catching it tho.

Ed won't let us down. No mention of Noob or Smoke so far, but I hope both are revealed eventually. At least one of them.

*prays for Rain*

One of the 3 remaining ninjas must be in... I just hope so...

Smoke was my second main in MK9 and Rain my third.

Well, there are rumours of Tremor, but I guess anyone can think up rumours...

Still, if it's true, then that would give you another ninja.

Can someone explain to me how, since this game takes place twenty years after MK9, how Bi Han could possibly be this Sub Zero? I dont remember the story...but I thought both Bi Han AND the younger one died? Obviously one is back (if not both) but it would be strange to see Noob back as Sub Zero.

As far as big bad goes, I like Noob but I don't see him leapfrogging Quan Chi as a villain in any way.

Many theories have been rising since his appearance.

According to MK:A, Noob Saibot has a divided soul, between Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot.

This was konfirmed by Boon.

On MK9, you notice that Noob Saibot works like two.

Theories of him surviving the Soulnado, much like Scorpion on MK:D, may open the possibility of him being separated from Noob Saibot/cleansed.

Anyway, even though he could be back by other means, as cryomancers have outworlder's blood, it's possible they get old slowly.

It would be nice to see Noob again because I thought he was terrific in 2011. They did an awesome job as to how he'd play with his shadows and such.

Whether he returns or not bothers me because he is one of my favorites and I hate how he was finished in the previous game. I remember reading (not sure if on this forum or another) that someone suggested that maybe someone else possesses Noob's life while he goes back to being Bi Han. I certainly hope they do not take that route. It's not the same character anymore once you change souls. I mean there's a big difference between changing identities and changing the entire character.

Sub-Zero is just a title that many people can posses but it's played by two different people. Neither of them acted the same way. Where if you have Noob being someone else, then Noob is no longer Noob... It would be whoever is possessing him rather than Noob. Which is why I am glad Jerrod is not taking over Ermac's body. It wouldn't be Ermac anymore, it would be Jerrod.

I am probably making no sense so I should stop and sleep already. It takes seven minutes to fall asleep... Pfff. Does anyone at least know what I'm talking about or did I just ramble incoherently?

I have no doubt that Noob can and probably did survive the Soulnado. I mean if Scorpion did because he's an undead spectre the same should apply to Noob.

I hope he comes back. His gameplay is awesome. His power of the shadows is an awesome ability. He's a downright beast and him being the OG Sub Zero only adds to his myth. But the storyline in MK9 did him no favors and he was reduced to street level henchman type, not the powerful wraith that is a threat to rule the Netherealm. I'm hoping he appears in the comics to build up some sense of honor and power for him so he can make a splash in MKX even if only as DLC.

I understood you every step of the way. I too hope that the ninjas (male and female) stay as themselves.

Noob was one of the coolest characters I've ever played with in a fighting game in MK9. It would be a shame to toss that out.

Actually, none of this is true.

This is a prime example of the fanbase taking a theory and running with it as fact. NONE of Armageddon's endings are canon and saying they aren't canon means taking none of it as canon.

The "Boon confirming this" part also isn't true. Boon made ONE tweet "No, there's Noob and there's Saibot" which could easily be there is noob and his shadow clone. Simple as that. Noob controls shadows. It would make sense that his own shadow is almost like another entity.

Now, we see that Hanzo can "control" Scorpion, but he still IS Scorpion. The soulnado did not separate Scorpion from Hanzo in the original timeline. I think the fanbase needs to acknowledge that Bi-Han IS Noob Saibot, and no matter how you argue this it hurts the character of Noob Saibot if you remove Bi-Han from him. It is not a symbiotic situation. Bi-Han is Noob Saibot.

That's why I said THEORY ;)

And no, it's not because an ending is non canon that the info there isn't true.

Endings are non canon because they didn't happen. Yet, most non canon ending on the whole series have true info.

Quan Chi never killed Shinnok on MK4, but was for that ending we knew that he duplicated The Amulet; Noob Saibot never killed Kuai Liang, but that was the way to tell he is Bi-Han; Onaga never won, but that ending shows the One Being's influence on him; Shinnok never won Armageddon, but by the non canon ending we knew it was a clone fighting, etc.

It has always worked on MK franchise, MK:A is not an exception. You are probably saying that because this argument makes Bi-Han being kept as Noob Saibot so Kuai Liang, your favorite, can be Sub-Zero. Kuai Liang is already on MKX, don't worry.

I love Noob, but I cannot see it happening for this game. I hope he makes an appearance in a future game rather than being freed. Scorpion already has that covered (and it's the best storyline he has had since game 1).
