There will be another DLC trailer koming on Monday (presumably for the DLC characters Kenshi and Skarlet); NinjaBoy66 confirmed it on his Twitter.
 
If the Klassic Kostumes are not free, Ed Boon is a liar.
He clearly stated in a interview that they wouldn't let us pay for content already on disc so he should keep his word.
Otherwise **** him and NRS.

Excuse my language, I just don't like being lied to.
 
I am going to laugh my ass off when the price of the DLC is revealed, especially after a lot of the board slammed certain other developers for pricing DLC. Did fans really think that NRS would give away stuff like this for free?

Yes, because they said they would not charge for DLC that's already on the disc. But then again Ed Boon lied about saying Babalities wouldn't be in the game because they want a "serious MK."

This rumor has been going around a lot of sites, but I wouldn't believe it for several reasons.

1) Tom Brady confirmed Kenshi is going to be released after Skarlet, so they cannot be in the same DLC pack.

2) Fujin is nowhere to be found, but he is definitely one of front-running candidates as shown in the DLC leak.

3) Klassic DLC probably won't be released as late as July if the trailer is coming this Friday.

Classic dlc comes in 2 weeks that was already confirmed.
 
why did they say 7 classic costumes for dlc. what about shadow noob thats the only one i care about at the moment ill be upset if they dont include him specially now cause it sounds like they are charging for classic skin after they stated it would be free smh.
 
do you know i hate DLC but im gonna pay for this DLC. I just hope they dont follow suit with Capcom and over charge for DLC.
Shoot me down but i think SVR 2011 had a decent DLC scheme, pay up front a price then download all future content for the title, even if you didnt take that option the seperate packs where resonably priced and the pre order DLC where released free to the best of my knowledge after a month of the release.
 
TOTAL Horses**t that we even have to pay for these klassic costumes and fatalities. They said the amount of free DLC we got depended on sales and last I checked, they were close to 2 million worldwide in a month, thats pretty damn impressive.

In addition to the fact that Boon promised us we wouldn't have to pay for content that's already on the disc. No excuse for having to pay. None at all.

true that one can't be true.. idk about the 1) you posted but I believe you :P I thought kenshi and skarlet were on the same pack but that's wrong as it seems. but also, when tweeted for Fujin, Boon told someone 'come in a year and tell me if fujin is in the game' (after that person told him about that DLC male character whose name was Fujin) and also he gave a straight no for Mavado. best he gave for mavado is 'maybe in the next game'. not to mention, a) classic stuff were confirmed for two weeks ahead and b) they can't put the best characters of post mk3 era as DLC because we all know those are only a handful and the rest are crap. I don't expect too many characters as DLC, I expect Rain, cyborg Smoke, maybe Motaro, and hopefully Reiko other than kenshi and skarlet. or maybe another new character that wasn't a rumor and a glitch, a real new character

Yeah, I don't know if I buy that all those other characters are coming in summer.

One, that tells me NRS had a lot of characters ready in time for launch and were holding back to charge for 'em, or two, someone heard some wild-ass rumors and they spread like wildfire, or three, wishful thinking.
