New Tremor Design!!

i made him to look more Hawaiian... idk i wanted to mix in different ethnicities into MK

i also gave him some moves:

Geiser: punches ground like jax does but with both fists causing a geiser to shoot up from the ground under the opponent

Body Slam: Tremor teleports through the ground in a blast of sand, emerging behind the opponent, when he comes down for a body slam, after which he rolls off of the opponent

Come Over: Tremor summons a fist of sand behind the opponent which punches them, launching them towards him

**Special Stance: SUMO STANCE- Tremor crouches down where he can perform either of these 2 moves:
1. Sand Slam: He lunges forward and lands atop the opponent as a pile of sand and in a bounce like fashion, emerges behind them

2. Take Down: Tremor lunges toward the opponent and smashes to the ground as sand, which allows him to slide under the opponent, shooting up as a geiser and bouncing backwards leaving the opponent lying on the ground

Blinding Sands or Sandstorm: Tremor rushes at the opponent with his elbow, but when he makes contact he bursts into sand, showing up behind them, leaving the opponent blinded like Sonya's Kiss move

I KNOW PEOPLE ARE THINKING OF MAKING A SAND CHARACTER TOTALLY SEPARATE FROM TREMOR, BUT I ALWAYS THOUGHT OF TREMOR AS A GROUND CHARACTER AND ALWAYS IMAGINED HIM HAVING SAND BASED MOVES, but thats just me

Not a huge fan of the beads around his neck, they make him look like Akuma. I like your moves, perhaps he could throw a rock as his projectile or encase his opponent in rock. Since you're going with a sand theme, perhaps a quicksand move?
 
That was great. I kan't draw like you, but I have basic design of him if you would like to see. I always imagined him with many kracked rocks instead of the small ones you had on his kloth. On the top and bottom. I will post later.

Overall, great, great ,great. And bbblp will apreciate it too.

Truly, a job well done. I like this very much. An interesting twist with the Hawaiian ethnicity to Tremor. Brilliant.
 
i think boon need to hear what mk fans want not what he tink is best
ok mk9 is my first mk game (not realy i played mortal kombat on ps1 but i dont remember anyting of it)
but yea i like too som old characters wana see wy ppl love them so much
 
haha, i expected all of the "akuma" comments for the bead necklace, but I used them to give him more of that Hawaiian look, plus, i meant for them to be alot bigger but it looked weird. They were supposed to be like extra weight he added to himself to make him heavier just like his shoulder pads and gauntlets made of stone, carrying heavier weight increases strength and puts a pack in his punch. I was also originally going to use the beads in his moveset, if I would have kept them larger
 
pretty sick design but abit of more editing hes perfect remove that stuff from his neck lol akuma lol
 
i wish i had a scanner because i have many concept art drawings of tremor and hydro from mk comics thay aren't my best work cause i drew them in middle school but they aren't bad either.
 
This is what I think he would look like. I drew it in black and white and kolored it in Photoshop. I used some of your ideas as inspiration, like the necklace. :D

i had a couple of move idea's for tremor in mind also.
things that havnt been done in mk. like:

instead of a damage boost, he could make himself heavier, meaning if he gets poppped up his gravity is much more than usual and he'd fall like a stone, offering your opponent no combo opportunity. the only problem with this move is that its purely defense,and relies on getting hit first, but i imagine a rock/stone/sand guy (what ev) to be defensive minded.

2nd: i really like this one, tremor spawns a stalictite from the ground that is as high as the players, it is indestructable and unjumpable for a couple of seconds,kinda like ice clone, pretty much acting like a wall.. which leads me to the enhanced version of the move, which just makes it last longer, but you could use it to corner combo mid screen!!

i imagine him being slow and strong, so he would need to rely on the wallmovecombo to get big hit combo's

what do you think?

especially the stalagmite one
i thought of him more as a big character, which is why i kind of don't like my own design.
he would be better as a rock and sand based character though, definately
