Hey everyone. My name is Justin. I am new to the message boards.
I've been visiting TRMK for quite some time now and was just too lazy to sign up for the boards.
I remember my first experience with Mortal Kombat... I was in 4th grade and a kid told me about a new game that was out at the arcades. He said that there was a character that could freeze you and rip off your head! I was pumped. This sounds amazing, so I asked my dad to bring me to the arcade, and I have been hooked ever since.
I am glad to say I got to participate in the arcade boom when people used to go and compete against each other. People gathered around the MK2 machine... it was a beautiful thing.

Never noticed this thread when I first joined but thought I'd put a post here. I'm Dan, 18 and I live in England. I was a member on a different MK fansite for about 3 years (davesmk.com or MK Nexus, whatever it's called now
). My fav character is Sub-Zero follow by Scorpion, Reptile and Raiden! First got into MK when I got MK3 with my Snes as a kid. Didn't rediscover it untill just after DA came out and loved it since!

HOLY SHIT. I forgot this place existed. I can't believe how much it's CHANGED. I don't know why I'm posting really, just for the lulz or the memories or something. Anyway I guess I'm semi-new. Some of you probably know me but you don't know it.
I was a member at TRMK's forums, like, 2002? Or just before whenever MKDA came out. Then I found MK5.org and buggered off there. I tried visiting here a while later but I forgot my original username so I created this one, only logged in a few times, then forgot this site even existed. That must've been like three years ago or something.
So anyway then MK5.org becomes mortalkombatonline years later. And becomes filled with idiots. And I get pissed. As do a few other members. And the moderation becomes absolutely horrible. Then worse. Then worse. And the site rapidly declines. I don't remember much of what happened back then, but basically most of the worthwhile regulars kind of went to war with the moderation staff and shit over how they ran the site. I think I was one of the initial instagators. Oops. Eventually tons of quality (see: interesting, funny) users got banned. Blade-tsung, et al. I think Hyuga got banned about eighty nine times in that period. There was a mass exodous to a forum created by this cool nooblet kid we liked, and then from there to another purpose specific forum, of about 50 of MKO's regulars; Jonin01, Hyuga, MKSECRETS, blade-tsung, myself, and so on and so on. Basically everyone who was ever a worthwhile member of MKO. Then about a year later that forum dissolved for some reason.
So yeah. I'm OG, boyeee. Just popping in to see what's crackalackin' with TRMK these days. It's a shame how dead it looks though. Man. What become of Kan0 and his legend? And who else used to post here? Like really oldschool users? I can't remember. Was ShadowSong a member here? I don't know. Jade might remember, or something.

Going by the influx of members here recently, even I'm pretty OG lol. I don't remember you, but welcome back anyway. As long as you aren't gonna waltz back in and expect everyone to bow down to you like some old members do, good times shall be had by all. And hey, Crys.

I used to post here back in the olden days. I believe I joined somewhere around the time DA came out, and actually lurked for a while prior that. I'm not sure what happened to Kan0; I was thinking he went under a different name more recently, but I'm probably way off. It's cool to see someone else from that era pop up, so welcome back, even if it's only temporary.
