Maybe they feel he doesn't need to be a skin because Cyber Subzero took his "Cyber" title.
Alternate timeline and such.
Idk I really wanted it though.

I just saw on facebook someone said it was MKII Mileena... I doubt it's true though.

I have a feeling it will be Scorpions Mk3 costume. I would like to see Cyber Smoke but I don't think that would happen. They would defiantly have to change his effects to make him sound more like a Cyber Ninja. They would defiantly have to change some of the designs of his moves to make him fit the part like they did with Cyrax bombs. Smoke feels like he could transition to his Cyber form, just fine as far as his moves goes. But I am wondering if NRS would spend that added time for something that is free. If they do happen to make this happen, I will be pleasantly surprised. I would also like to see Mk1 Johnny Cage and pre scarred Kabal which is already in Story mode. But I don't think these will ever happen either.

Also, I thought the chance of another Mileena skin was shot down weeks ago. Guess I thought wrong.

Not really thrilled for unmasked Sub. Don't like the mesh. Don't like the Unmaskedness of it and I've always hated the UMK3 ninja look. Cyber Smoke skin would be ok. Still would rather like a MK1 classic for JC or MK3 Sonya.

Unmasked Sub-Zero and Cyber Smoke would make the perfect combo since they're both Lin Kuei and because neither Unmasked Sub-Zero nor Cyber Smoke happen in this new timeline. That said, it will probably end up being UMK3 Scorpion. I guess we'll find out in the morning.

I just can't see Cyber Smoke being an alt for human Smoke. I hate the idea of Cyber Smoke not having the spear & uppercut.

scorpion with sub
kitana with jade
noob with smoke
sektor with cyrax

and why would they give smoke two costumes from the same set of Dlc makes less sense then giving scorpion his inferno costume.

Can't they pick 2 combatants that haven't gotten ****en DLC costumes?!!?!!?!?!?! I'm getting fricken pissed off with NRS. I just one my Sonya and Cage. Kitana an Jade got 2. Now Sub-Zero and maybe Scorpion get 2 also. ********....

as an alt no i dont see that happening because he would have to be completely redone which is more of a dlc character than an alt costume and i don't think they'll give that out for free any way sry guys.

@jadesterr they have done it this way for a reason like it or not scorpion and sub zero are their big money draw's so it makes sense that they save them for the final two free dlc alt's to sell that thing they call dlc.

Agree, C-Smoke (even as an additional costume) demands much effort to be created and there's too big hype for him to be included in free pack, NRS wouldn't resign such profit.
