My Mortal Kombat (2011) Kombatants Predictions (Comments would be nice.)

Ok this what I think is the most likely.



As you can see bottom two slots are bosses. Most likely Goro and Shao Kahn. Noob as an alternate costume for Old Sub-Zero. Young Sub-Zero never leaving the Lin Kuei or even becoming Sub-Zero gets a new name and a cybernetic ninjas make over for one costume. Smoke saved by young Sub-Zero is still human with a cybernetic ninjas alternate costume. Unfortunately for the Stryker haters I think he is in and the two characters that are out will most likely be Rain and Sheeva and if anyone from MK 4 and on is in, it will be Quan Chi taking Stryker's spot.

Yeah, Rain is already in the background of the church arena with his MKA primary outfit and Quan Chi is most likely a DLC.
 
Kira amd Li Mei already have models as we've seen... Hataru is suppose to be there. So honestly, it wouldn't suprise me if some of the post MK3 guys reappeared in new perspective.
 
Yeah I'm pretty sure our fun we had in the last game with playable boss characters is over for now. No more goro or shoa kahn.

This thought just in...

Since this game is apparently covering three games... perhaps younger Sub-Zero doesn't see the first roster but instead becomes DLC for later use when the game has covered more story?

It don't say anyone is confirmed beyond the 10 we already know but if you look at the people in the background and when they appear I think it may give so induction to who is in. Kira, Li Mei, Daegon, Kenshi, Reiko and Rain are all showed in the background in either the trailer or publicity for the game and are all wearing their Armageddon costumes where as Kitana is in the background during game play and is wearing a new costume.

Kira, Li Mei, Daegon, Kenshi, Reiko and Rain will not be in the game. They don't fit the time frame Ed said the game takes place and they don't have new looks for the game. they are just place taker that the MK team were trying to use to get people talk and to not give away who would be in the game.

Kitana will be in the game. She has been redesigned for it and fit the time line. The characters in the background will change between the characters that are in the game and just them showing some one in the background right now means little to nothing but an entirely new costume that they had to put work into does.

If Noob is in the game, he's not gonna be an alternate costume, he'll be a different character altogether. Their movesets are completely different, this isn't MK Trilogy, and I think Netherrealm is aiming for a little higher standards than stuff from 12+ years ago.

There's no "most likely" about Goro or Khan being playable, either. Goro hasn't been mentioned and even if both end up in the game, it's highly UNlikely that they'll be playable simply because they're bosses. MK boss characters are broken simply to make them harder to beat. Since the standards for this game are so high, so I'm betting the LAST characters to fill those spots will be Khan, Goro, Kintaro, Motaro or any of the other bosses.

I think Noob would :quoties:most likely:quoties: have his own move set just as a hidden character off of Sub-Zero. We already know that it is the Old Sub-Zero in the game so it would be odd for Noob to have his own slot. They have done stuff like that before. As for Goro I feel he will :quoties:most likely:quoties: be the sub boss. And seeing how the bottom two slots are offset I think they will :quoties:most likely:quoties: be unlockable boss characters. If you look I have done 3 of those and based on what has been said and what they have done in the past the third one is the :quoties:most likely:quoties:. Not saying that is what I want just that it is what I'm expecting.:razz:
 
i dont know why everyone is counting on noob saibot to be playable. given the timeline in the game its the older sub zero. HES NOT NOOB SAIBOT YET! realisticaly he couldnt just decide to either be sub zero or pick an alternate attire and just be noob saibot. hes got to actually wait until he becomes noob saibot to be him. i also think the older sub zero will be the only sub zero in this mk. im not trying to attack all you noob fans posts. im just stating my opinion. yes noob is a great character one of my fav ninjas in mk but i just dont see him being playable. mabey DLC. i do hope hes somewhere in the story mode.

another thing about the bosses. just because shao kahn is in a video doesnt mean he will be playable. remember on deception onaga was in the video at the beginning but he was not playable. i actually hope there is no playable bosses because of the whole balance thing.

I want Jade to be playable whether as part of the selectable roster or as DLC. I want her to have a sexy mini battledress with armor.

Perhaps you should've said "I think" instead of "most likely" because they have some fairly distinct meanings, at least for me.

Raiden's knowledge of future events could trigger the younger Sub to become Noob instead.
 
So why do you think any of that is "most likely"? For something to be "most likely" you need some reason(s) for thinking it, and I don't see any reason to think any of that makes sense, at least not when the rest of the stuff we know about the game is considered.

Hector Sanchez is reported saying "Sub-Zero in the trailer we all saw during E3 and is the "classic", that is, the older brother who died at the end of the first Mortal Kombat. When I asked if that meant the game would have two Sub-Zeros had no response beyond "stop asking me questions that I can not answer." you put that with Boon tell IGN "the guys turning into cybernetic ninjas, are changed around, so you might see a character become cybernetic who wasn't before, and so you see a different version [of events]." and it looks like to me that Sub-Zero may never be killed and the little brother may remain Lin Kuei and be turned into a cybernetic ninja. If so he would have never took the name Sub-Zero and may be a way to have a new character in the game with out altering the story too much rather than just creating one and having to give them a back story to put them in the mix of MK-MK3. This is just me trying to put the hints together. Take it how ever you want but it sounds to me that he will become a cyborg. I doubt there will be two blue ice ninjas.

That leads me to think Noob would't have his own slot.

Ed Boon interview with EGM online: He makes comments that there may be 2 locked characters and we get 24 from out of the box or all 26 may be unlocked.

This makes me think even more that the bottom two off set slots are bosses and I think that the two most iconic bosses are Goro and Shao Kahn
 
I think that if Noob-Saibot is going to be in the game it will either As an Alternate Costume to the Original Sub-Zero, considering that they are the same person in the Current timeline story. But we wont know until they reveal more character now will we!?
