Agreed.
I'd rather just get Goro and get the other DLC separately, given that NRS doesn't even want to say who these "Klassic Kombatants" are.
I feel a Johnny and Sonya "Klassic Kombatants" DLC troll coming.
I know that some people would flip their shit if that ever happened, though. :laugh:
 
i think its a safe bet that Johnny and sonya are the bonus characters.
putting them in the main game is weird coz cassy can perform fatalities on her parents. and jonny and sonya can perform fatalities on their daughter.
but having them as bonus characters makes it appear less harsh

Sindel and Kitana have been performing Fatalities on each other for decades almost.

Not trying to be snarky, but what you said is not valid reasoning.

We had family members kill each other in MK for years. Ed Boon and the other people from NRS have hinted that those two are likely are in the game.

i know its not validation but the cassy thing is still much more Fu*ked up case. i dont have a problem with it. and i know many others wouldnt either. but from an outside perspective it is bad taste even for MK

At the conclusion of MK3, Sindel was not evil.

MK:A is still a canon game, whether it brought every character back or not, and Sindel could perform fatalities on Kitana and vice versa, while at the same time both being canonically good.

Oh and if you don't want to use MK:A, there's always MK:Unchained

I was JUST asking myself if they would at least announce in the near future who the characters were. I was so close to getting the GameStop pre-order when I remembered reading that the kombatants could possibly be Johnny and Sonya. Since my only motive for the pre-order would be for the DLC, I'd feel completely robbed. I have no choice but to wait now, lol.
 
It's the general pricing for all games at every store that sell video games. I've noticed the pricing with other games well.
 
Anyone notice that the Limited Edition has a different Scorpion cover on the GameStop website?

When did they change to that box cover for the Limited Edition?
I went gamestop.com a few days ago and I didn't see it there for the Limited Editions, but I just noticed it today.
 
I want that cover so bad.

Anything is better to me than the generic render from when the game was first announced. The headshot looks so much better, even if it is from the same set of renders.
 
I want that Scorpion by Coarse...not because I like the design better, because I love the MKX Scorpion design they've shown, but because the pose on the statue itself is so much better looking.

But I'm not getting burned on price here. I want the statue and nothing else. I'll get the DLC in two years on one of the various Steam Sales. I couldn't play with my friends on PS4 unless I pay for PS+ anyhow. So why bother?

I don't play competitively, so getting it on release would just be an impatient indulgence.

One I might succumb to anyway, mind you. Big fan, as anyone who was around 10 years ago knows.
