Mortal Kombat Trilogy Extended [by MKTX Team]

It's probably matter of taste.) I don't think Kage planned to replace classic fonts.

Boo. :v Death to Announce.ttf! Haha.

I personally don't like black smoke in every special move.
Another video with Smoke's involvement posted below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFs6IEYG3yk

I agree that the black smoke could be toned down significantly, but he definitely feels like a full-on character and not just "robot with spear" like he felt in MK3~T.

On the topic of one-dimensional characters, I'm hoping Scorpion has a couple more moves now as well. :)

There were MANY other releases for MUGEN scene. And you shouldn't care about someone's reaction/mood. Especially if subjects are practically unpredictable imbeciles.
If someone wants to talk about MUGEN content created by Fireboy, first thing they should know is that his game is not a well-known MKM representation because it's not even a pure MKM game in first place (or a pure classic MK game at that), just bits and pieces from all over the other MK games that he can reach. So yeah, for a lack of better term, it's pretty much a compilation. This is the reason his game is off the radars for MKM purists. And Le@N is right as always, when someone thinks about one of "complete MKM" projects seen in the past, there's a good chance they're thinking about something like this instead:

Le@n: is the Deadpool that's in your avatar from MKTX or another project? I ask because it seems way over-the-top/oddly sized and I'm hoping that MKTX's classic stages appear in a more untouched fashion. :)

Is there a list/screenshots anywhere of all the stages MKTX will feature?

Well.. Looks like you don't like to think sometimes.. Avatar was resized, because 200x200 pxl is allowed size.
Stages look like in arcade, you can check in MAME if you want.

How much will it cost to finish this project?
Hello, Kage always makes if for free.) And donations were added mostly for better motivation.

Does this project that Djangoboy is praising so much have a Downloadable link?

This is clearly off topic and should be directed to the project's author, instead of posting it in MKTX thread. Right now the author is taking it to the next level by creating a real MK game with 3D models (and I am pretty sure he had releases of that). What you are asking is a rhetorical question: does a project require a download link to be good? Does having a download link automatically make it good? Is everyone automatically incapable to see the project's potential while it lacks a download link? The answers are very clear. Look for any story of success with billions of fans. Check MK Outworld. Check MKTX. Actually, here is your answer:

How much will it cost to finish this project? PM me! Serious...

As you see Sigmund, it is more clear than ever. No man is an island and so is a project. Social skills, proper marketing, networking, reaching out to fans, making videos are all very important factors to see the project succeed. I repeat, you cannot reach success in a lazy way by keeping your project under the wraps. And what have you done to promote MKMU so far? Why MKTX team is working hard on spreading the word around the forums and MKMU team is not? Ho man, I've just checked and the last MKMU video was... 10 months ago. Are the fans that unworthy of even minimal attention from the creators according to you? Think about it, and I wish you good luck.

I meant the size of the added stuff; the person hanging on the wall at the back of the stage is like twice the size of the fighters in the foreground. :)

Just making sure that stages were from the original, and not too "jazzed up" with extra stuff. :)

Okay.) I thought you're about resolution of everything.
Body was personal joke, isn't included in MKTX anyways.

No, it's not MKTX way, Kage never forget about classic.) Do you remember wizard's size in Throne Room?
Corpse was reference to MK1 mistakes with proportions.

Hey man, know you from MKHD topic.) Well, seriously.. we doing it for free, donations are only motivates bit more to spend our time for project. Sure, MKTX will be finished someday, just matter of time. Regards.

I love that you guys are doing this for free... but how much of a "donation" would it take for your team to complete the project? $5,000?... $10,000?... im an old school fan and i love the new combos you have added to klassic characters.... i myself used to edit mugen sprites back in the day.. have you seen Mortal Kombat Blood Storm project?... i never found a place to download the game.. i think the guys stopped working on it... anyways that was also an intense looking project. I would have to say your project and the bloodstorm one are by far the best MK Mugen projects to ever be made! Anyways get back to me on the donation question i had. And FYI your inbox is full. Haha. Kk Cheers

:D

Hey, I cleared private messages.) Indeed, better to continue this discussion in different place.
MK Blood Storm is well known project in MK MUGEN community. I can't say it was very qualitative, but unique and with own visual style. Sadly, Bruno/Japa stopped work, latest version wasn't available for public.

We started to update MK4 stages, below you can check how 'The Tomb' looks now.
Thanks to the Elder Gods, just received excellent assistant.

Forgive my ignorance, I never played MK4 much but weren't the arenas all in 3D? How are you guys translating them to 2D? Just curious

Like other games Mortal Kombat 4/Gold has textures.) It's possible to make MUGEN stage with extracted graphics. And certain objects were ripped from emulator obviously.

That looks pretty badass, this stage is one of my favorites in the entire series and you did a great job with it, I can't wait to see some gameplay footage with this stage.

Really this stage make a truly outworld ´s eviroment is ´f ´R´NR. The only detail that do not likes to me, is the flat style. keep it up on rocking
