Mortal Kombat @ Pax East 2011

Fellas, stop getting your panties in a bunch about "supporting" this game, that isnt even out yet, at some game trade show. Your all being silly if you want to turn it into a big dick contest.

Just in 2010 alone, i've been to about 10 tourneys for UMK3, in New Jersey, Philly, Cleveland, Cincinnati as well as several tourneys here in Columbus, including the most godlike event every year, Season's Beatings. And I am just one piece of that pie. MANY MANY guys i know travel a TON more than i do for these games.

So dont worry about it PRE-release. Worry about how you'll help me support if OFFLINE, at events all over the country when the game drops.

PS- assuming the game isnt a giant flaming turd, of course.

I don't see where you're coming off as it it a big dick competition, mainly I just needed a reason to go to Boston for career purposes. I just honestly want to play it and it would be an added bonus. Offline traveling is a different story on many levels apart of a trade show. That brings up a great point (and probably an entire new thread), where will MK9 be in a year from now?

Dude wtf talking about? I am in Minnesota and willing to make sacrifices? From where you are that is just like 2 days off of work.

No way I could take 1 or 2 days off of work, plus the money spent to go there, just to play a game 3 months early. Definitely not worth it, not in this economy. ANY decent job is much more important then that. But if it was somewhere in NYC, I could go there after work just by walking. Or spend 30 minutes and $10 to get there if it's during the weekend.

Yeah just giving ya a hard time. I've never been to a trade show of this type and I am pretty fascinated about how they work. Might as well make a vacation out of this.

How does it work? Do you only get 1 match and then have to go back to end of the line? Stupid question but maybe someone else was wondering as well.

We don't have 100% official confirmation, but from the Twitter posts I would say it's confirmed. Get your tickets now if you want to play it a month early. I'm still debating going, but more than likely wont be since it's so close to the game release, I'll instead spend that time reading the site for the game.

On topic, go if you can. Boston is a wonderful city, one of my favorites to go on business trips since there's a lot to see in a few days.

Off topic, I love your avatar, Johnny Rook. Who painted that?

OMG!!!!! Pax is coming to boston!!! I live likw 40 mins from there. How do I get tickets. Please tell me someone

Seriously though. Could somebody tell me if it is even possible for me to get tickets to this thing? I don't work at gamestop or design games or anything. I'm just a big fan who would love to go and check out PAX. Does any1 know what I have to do to get tickets?
