Mortal Kombat Klassic Kostume DLC Announced

Ed Boon (and others related to the MK team) have been practically begging people not to pay for DLC codes on eBay or whatever, he's pretty much said that the classic outfits are going to be free DLC and the only thing people are going to be asked to pay for are extra characters.
 
On the one hand, it's awesome that this is being released. On the other hand, I've got a feeling that this "DLC" isn't going to be free. PROTIP: If the content is on disc, 1) it isn't "dlc" 2) you've already bought it. In no way should any of you have to pay for this. If there is a price tag attached to this on disc content that you've already bought, you should raise hell at NRS and WB.

So we most likely won't have to pay for the Klassic costumes?
 
This might seem irrelevant to the costumes DLC, but what about characters DLC ?! Lol xD. I'm really really hoping they announce Skarlet and Kenshi on Friday. Along with upcoming DLC characters. I'm hoping Tanya, Rain, and Frost! Does anyone know if there's an update on this character DLC topic? Thanks! :)
 
i dont care too much about klassic kostumes. all i really wanted is the 3 classic fatalities that are already DOWNLOADED(hence not DLC) and in the game, just not unlocked. hooray i get to pay to access fatals that are already there. B.S

Guys!!! Are you agree of MK3 Kung Lao costume for DLC? Ed Boon mentioned me on his tweet asking if players would want MK3 Kung Lao..

He's said this because of the exorbitant prices that are on eBay, not because it'll be free. He's saying this so people don't pay $25+ for a skin that they'll be able to get in this pack for less than $10.

This isn't true. You may have bought the info that's on the disc, but that doesn't mean you've bought the rights to use all of it.
 
I for one have been abusing the retro's for sub since online came back, mainly bc I knew they would release them. I think either 1: all classics will be free or 2: They will be released with kenshi and skarlett for $10. I also think that the mk3 cyrax and sektor will be bundled with noob and smoke's original costumes.
 
That's hot garbage. That's like walking into a Best Buy to buy a HDTV and after purchasing it, they tell you that you have to spend an extra amount to have the right to use the HDMI ports that are built into the tv. There's no way that would ever fly, and the same holds true here. The selling of on disc content as DLC is a shady, underhanded business practice designed to rip off the customer/end user of content already purchased. It shouldn't be tolerated and there's no way it can even be justified.
 
I thought it was going to be free. I only want the fatalities anyways. I'm going to pass and pray they do a UMK3 Ninja DLC...
