Mortal Kombat HD Remix with MUGEN

Maybe all dicussion and announcement about this game should be moved to a private forum?

I mean..that My Little Pony fanmade game can not be finished/shared anymore officially now since Habro send the makers a C&D letter. I don't want this to happen to MK HD Remix too.

It might be smart to work on the game secretly ..finish it..share it via torrent sites and Mk sites when it is done so thousands of fans can grab and share it before you, the makers could be stopped from sharing it.

Just my two cents.

Hey team (Bleed, Calactyte, and noble others), I am so happy this project is still in progress. I'm a web designer and developer full-time in Seattle, and I would love to contribute to the project, but I'm not sure my skill would be much use to you at this point. Please keep me in mind around launch time, and perhaps I can finally contribute to this project in a positive way :twisted:

@Cal, I've noticed that the goro statue in your warrior shrine background is a bit smaller than how it looks in the original.

The statues are all a bit smaller. I will eventually get around to fixing it. Your edit would Goro propotionally way too big, unless the other statues also increase in size.

LaLuna can you please rip the entire statues layer from the game for me?

Looks fine to me. Scorpions head is up to Goro's elbow, which is almost the same as Kano's head height.

Possibly Goro could be a fraction bigger, but not to the degree you pointed out.

If anything should be changed it's the height of the flags in the background, which are much higher than in the original.
 
Thanks again Laluna! So I thought about resizing everything but I realize in terms of proportions I've got it pretty close. In reality the statues in my stages seem a little further away especially compared with the the fighter's size. I thought about this for a little while and I actually think it is a little bit more realistic this way. So while it isn't exactly like the original, it is pretty close and the difference is minor but could be viewed as an improvement.

You seem to have a few little sky floaters in there of tree parts to the right of the large building and the left of the small one. Also some areas you didnt seem to cut right. When I click the image it puts it on a white background and I can also see some different white tones in the sky... not sure if this will be a problem when you go to put it on the blue sky or not... just a few things I noticed.
 
It seems there is no guest or topic for the On Blast Show tomorrow night. I know there was alot of interest in getting Bleed on there to talk about MK HD Remix and his MK artwork. I got a chance to talk a little bit about MK MUGEN on there already, it was really exciting. Gabe, I dont know if your busy tomorrow night, but you really should go on this show. I think you would have a BLAST.
