Mortal Kombat 11 rumours

Sounds too similar to Sareena, when it's pronounced.
I'm taking all of the "leaked" info with a grain of salt, but especially that part.
Crossing my fingers that it's Sareena and some of the other post-MK3 characters, and that the supposed "leaker" just had a misunderstanding.
 
lol Pennywise. if were going to get guest characters get the Keeper from The Evil Within as DLC. that would be better than a clown.

There is a thing called "over-promoting", and it cost me a chance to want to see IT. Now I can't even tolerate seeing any of its sh!t plastered on Facebook.

I really don't mind the horror characters for DLC, I thought Freddy in 2011 was really good. And I did enjoy Jason as well. I didn't buy Leatherface, Alien, or Predator because by then my interest in Mortal Kombat X kinda went somewhere else.

But I would prefer anything else over Pennywise. Even if it's Chuckie.
 
I always hated every and each one of those stupid horror guest characters on MK and always will. But there are huge chances it will happen, cause IT is already a hit everywhere. Plus, probably MK11 release might be close to IT - Part 2 release as well. MK and IT are also under Warner Bros, arent them?
 
As much as I hate guests, in general, some horror guests seem to make more sense over others.
Chucky, Pennywise, Jason, Freddy, Leatherface and Michael Meyers have always seemed like odd choices, to me, given that they really aren't technically fighters / warriors.
As much as I don't like them being included in MKX, at least Alien and Predator are warriors / hunters, to a certain extent.

A lot of MK's cast aren't fighters/warriors and yet are seem to be doing fine. For example, Tanya is a bloody ambassador and yet kicks holes in people as if she's Goro.

Guests aren't going anywhere. It's also funny how before NRS got their shit together, so many people cried for MK vs Whatever...And now that we're getting it, game after game...:lol:
 
Being an ambassador doesn't mean you can't be a fighter too though.
Johnny is an actor, but he's also a fighter.

People can be more than just one thing. XD

As for guest characters, NRS have shown that even though they have non-fighter guests in the game, they'll find a way to make them so.

I would personally rather have non-horror guest characters in MK though, if there HAS to be a guest characters. There are so many other more interesting and cool characters that would be awesome to have in a game like MK.
 
It's exactly what I've typed. The "they're not warriors!" excuse doesn't work in MK. Any nerd, midget or fatass can easily beat up a 50 foot 1000 pound Kintaro and pull his spine out. Anyone can smash a pile of cinder blocks with just a pinky finger.

Aside from being a diplomat, Tanya is a character who uses magic and is a henchwoman.
Also, "Kobu Jutsu" derives from the Japanese word "Ko bujutsu," literally meaning "Ancient Martial Art," so my point is still proven that she's someone with fighting experience.

I never said or implied that guests were going away, though, so why was that brought up?
I just said that I personally don't care for them.
That said, keeping them off them main roster and having them be DLC in MKX (IMO) was the best thing that NRS did. Those that want them can buy them and have them, and those of us who don't want them don't have to have them on the main roster.
Win-win.

As for MK vs ___________ ...... Yes, because a select few vocal people = the whole fanbase. :roll:
 
Few vocal people? Sales prove you wrong. In fact, YOU are the minority. If Guests (which is a codeword for MK vs...) would've been such a problem neither NRS nor WB would their precious time and money on them. :lol:

I can make a list of video game people who don't meet the criteria of "figther/warrior", perhaps you should pick a different description? Jason is more of a fighter/warrior than the edgelord Cassie or that bum Kano. :rofl:
