That is yet another reason not to take these "leaks" at face value. Now that I think about it, Reptile being DLC was enough of a red flag for me to call bullshit on this. Reptile is clearly popular enough to generate serious backlash over being placed behind a paywall.

Wait, I know Boon and the gang said there would be no repeat DLC in MKX. Did they ever say anything about that beyond MKX?

Agreed. It would be nice to see Shang Tsung lead his own agenda. I'm personally really curious if he returns from Ermac and what he's up to from there.

Because last time, didn't Shao Kahn fuse his soul in to Sindel to make her stronger? I couldn't imagine him remaining allies with Shao Kahn.

It's possible he could run with Shao's new competition, Kotal Kahn. Shang has ties with Erron Black so I'd love to see something developer there.

This reminds me, it would be such a waste if Shao Kahn has no story relevance. Because look after the mess after his defeat in MK9. Your gang is split, and someone has taken your throne and everything else. I also want to see them go somewhere with Shao Kahn in regards to that. But more than likely, it'll turn out like Goro. Still awesome to play as such a badass.

I have a theory why Shao Khan's arm is different. If this is the Shao Khan from the original timeline, the power of Blaze inside of him could cause his body changed over time. Allowing him to evolve into something greater.

Not if it's Human Smoke. Plus Smoke and the other cyborgs all shared the same spot. And it's unlikely we'll get Triborg again so if any of them are DLC, they'll have their own slot and separate fatalities among other things.

This is what I think will be the most likely scenario, as well, because people who didn’t preorder will cry foul that he’s “on-disc DLC,” otherwise, like they did with Goro being a sub-boss for the Klassic Tower in MKX.

Multiply leaks and rumours talked about Frost getting a full revamp. First it was an Ice-Construct, then more info came from different places and it came out that she will be A cyborg type character.

And yes thank you. That's exactly what I said. She looks like a damn Strogg XD But she reminds me more of the Quake 4 ones.

The lack of Fujin is making me angry. Even if he is DLC it would mean that he is not going to be a (bigger) part in story mode. With Raiden going dark it would be such a nice move. But I guess they don’t care for missed opportunities.

Even DLC Fujin is questionable at the moment...
 
Fujin is about on par with Sindel for me. I'll never really understand the demand. They both just seemed like generic roster filler to me.

He would fit both in story and fighting. He could be the new good Raiden and imagine how interesting a Wind God could be, especially since he hasn’t been playable since Armageddon which is 13 years old.
