Sucks. I loved during MKX's leadup where we'd get a trailer at the beginning of the week and then a breakdown a few days later. I'm hoping the reason we didn't get a Kabal trailer is because they have more than just Kabal to show off tomorrow.

I have a feeling that more will be shown off, not just about Kabal in MK11, but about the mobile app update as well.
Got an MK Mobile reminder that Diamond MK11 Scorpion will be coming with the next update, and they previously mentioned 3 characters coming with that update, so I wondering who those other 2 will be.
It would be cool if Geras and Skarlet came to the mobile app via Gold Card challenges, imo.

I typed nothing about them making games. EA is a publisher, not a developer :roll: Sorry bro but you need to downshift, preferably with rev matching. Having another storefront isn't going to suddenly change censorship or make Steam better. Pipe dreams. My verdict on this is final: MK11 on Steam, or no buy.

Yes, Quan Chi can definitely sit this one out, guess the story of MK11 will be finishing of the remained revenants and set a new direction of evil for a new game.
Not certain 3D era characters are meh but most of them and I've already listed the newcomers rated. Let's see: We shouldn't forget that 2 of the 3D era fighters have already been in MK9 (Quan Chi and Kenshi). Certainly two 3D era characters that have established themselves. Then we have Shinnok, Tanya and Bo Rai Cho. Shinnok and Tanya were good new characters in MK4 and BRC got a decent revamp, yes.
So what is left from those 3D era characters you always want, that have never been playable in this new trilogy and aren't crap? Only Fujin and Havik IMHO. And I want them very much too. Reiko could be cool, but he'd need a similar revamp as BRC in MKX. Back in MK4 he was just Rain without a mask with Shang Tsung's MK3 eyes.
Through MK4, MKDA and MKD the new characters have gotten worse and worse. MK4 introduced Shinnok, Quan Chi, Fujin, Reiko, Tanya with Jarek and Kai being crap. MKDA's new characters, except for Kenshi, are full garbage in my eyes. I remember me being superhyped to finally play a new Mortal Kombat on my new PS2. And I hated them all, I never used them after trying, they were bland and not interesting. And yes, I only used the "trilogy characters" and Kenshi sometimes. With Deception released I was superhyped again. And again only Havik seemed interesting to me. As for the others: I hope they are gone for good.
So technically we share the opinion of bringing Fujin and Havik back for MK11. Reiko could be done well too.

They directly influence the games their studios make. Dead Space 3 being perfect example. Entire art, game design direction was changed to fit the EA orders. That means they are part of development. If they directly influence the final product.
As for stores. We will see. We have whole year to watch this unfold. So far it is just pure predictions. But fact remains. Epic did what no one else did. That already counts for something.
I keep telling myself to shut down all hopes. Especially if one of the leaks is true and Frost is some sort of construct.
But... I kinda wanna see revamped Frost. That would be really dope.

Not even close. Plenty of fighting games have Ryu clones. KoF had one, and then SF made Dan to mock him

Ironically, Capcom had to rotate the names of 3 of the SF2 bosses to avoid a lawsuit from Mike Tyson under the same circumstances.

Yep. To avoid IP infringement is pretty easy. Just don't use the names and don't do copy paste.
I could add a female character that wears one piece swimming suit and has two braids. She could also user her legs for fighting. But as long as her name is not Cammy and she doesn't wear exact same clothing (red gloves, red cap, etc). CAPCOM can't do shit.

EA is basically a corporate stooge. I already typed about why so many organisations are bending over. It's all because of that magnificent dollar sign and brownie points. It's good that their stocks are crumbling after their latest stunt, but something tells me just like Disney and the rest of the schmucks....They won't give up and will just double down.
