MKX - rumoured spoilers!

If Liu comes back I would like zombie Liu Kang he was on of my favs in mkd . I too unfortunately read the spoilers even when they were posted in the spoiler section I just couldn't help myself, like a moth too the flame. I still enjoyed story mode immensely however
 
MKX: SF3 edition.
But srsly, some 3D MK characters suck, and you can't have classic characters forever, so i prefer brand new characters.

I stopped reading the MK9 spoilers when they didn't even state who was talking in the Story Mode script.

In terms of these "leaks" I'm liking what I'm seeing...

Kotal Kahn related to Shinnok in a way? What if it's because they're both Gods? Probably adds more to the case that Kotal is the Outworld protector.
 
Cool, theres some interesting (MK4-MKDA-MKD) characters.
I mean, without Kenshi and QuanChi (Already appear on MK9)

I like what I hear from these spoilers. Also, A Liu Kang and Kitana baby in this game would be beyond stupid. How anyone thinks this is a good idea is beyond me. They are both dead. Where would the baby have come from? A surrogate mother? Just drop it.
 
Let me make my guesses clear actually...

Due to so many possibilities here is how I believe it should go...

14 new characters (including the woman in Jade's MK9 ending.)

MK9: Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Quan Chi, Kano, + 2 from the following... Sektor, Kenshi, Reptile, Rain, Skarlet, Mileena, Ermac, Cyrax, Sonya, and Johnny Cage.

MK4-MKA: Shinnok, Tanya, Havik, Li Mei, + 4 from the following... Reiko, Fujin, Frost, Hotaru, Taven, Daegon, Shujinko, Kai, Bo Rai Cho, Jarek, Kira, Ashrah, Khameleon, Sareena, and Nitara.

Who ever won't make it can be DLC later on.

Same here.... Really really upset about that... However, I didn´t expect her because Boon wanted new chars and she was in every game since MKA. My last hope is that she will be available as DLC.

Those spoilers seem pretty accurate... and this is my prediction for the roster:

8 MK9: Liu Kang, Raiden, Reptile, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Mileena, Sonya and Jhonny Cage.

8 MK4: Tanya (HELL YEAH!!!), Quan Chi, Fujin, Shinnok, Kenshi... (don´t care about the others)

And finally, 14 new chars???... WTF. I´m not happy with that. Remember all the post MK4 games weren´t as popular as the trilogy for their excesive brand new chars, so I don´t think it will work now.
Let´s wait and see....
 
i dont think sonya going it might be just cage an ermac might be last mk9 character and what wrong with 14 new mortal kombat is about futures fighter not the past which is why the dragon different this game is passing of the torch to next fighters
 
Kitana wasn't in playable in Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition, don't think she even appeared at all in this one, for the GBA and she wasn't initially playable in Deception. She was added to the playable roster in Unchained.
 
I'd love for Kitana to somehow be revitalized and take a turn like Raiden did in MK:D. Her mom, best friend, and potential lover are all dead due to the actions between Outworld and Earthrealm. She could point the blame at actions of Kahn and Raiden, and choose to lead Edenia against them while they're weakened akin to Shinnok/Quan-Chi.

She could either side with the villains or look to the other realms (Order or Chaos) for assistance. It'd get all the realms involved in an all-out war and make things interesting with all the other sub-plots going on... perhaps recreating Armageddon?

Kitana has had a history of being a roster cut under a variety of circumstances.

MK3 - With the exceptions of the Unmasked Sub-Zero (an effort to sell the "younger brother of MK1 Sub-Zero" part as canon), the new Cyber Ninja concept, and a resprited Noob Saibot, all ninjas were dropped from MK3. This was due to either time constraints, a pay dispute with Katalin Zamiar & Daniel Pesina (along with an advertising transgression by the latter), or a combination of the two. This was solved for UMK3 by having MK3 Sub-Zero/Shang Tsung actor John Turk do the male ninjas while a new actress, Becky Gable, did the females.

MK4 - As was the case with others intended to return, Kitana's in-game model was reskinned to create a new character, Tanya. However, Kitana's model remained in the game, as it was necessary for Liu Kang's ending. Kitana would be brought back for Mk Gold, a Dreamcast-exclusive port of MK4.

MKD - Kitana was a cutting room floor character due to increasing fan demand for Arcade era characters who had not made very many appearances (or in some cases, none) since their debuts. Kitana's original render was used for Mileena.

Problem with that is that she's dead and her soul was enslaved by Quan Chi. I don't see any of those that are serving Quan Chi ever returning as playable characters, since if you bring one back fans will want all of them back. Liu Kang lucked out as he wasn't enslaved by Quan Chi as far as we know and his body was taken elsewhere.

Besides, Mileena may pretend to be Kitana to lead her people only to be dethroned when Ermac, as the King, comes knocking on the door to remove the pretender from the throne. I don't see Ermac sparing Mileena in that encounter compared to how Kitana gave Mileena many chances to reform.

That or Rain and Tanya ruling Edenia (which would really have no royalty after the Princess and the queen are dead) then the 2 traitors would get dethroned by Ermac. Infact here is how the story should go.

Rain takes over Edenia as ruler and let's Tanya be his queen.

However, Tanya would kill Rain in story mode later on by seducing him to bed just to rip off his p*nis (censorship noted).

Then, Ermac (as King Jerrod) would dethrone Tanya by killing her in battle.

Yeah that's why I have my name. ;)

Plus I got that idea after seeing Tanya do her Thigh Rip fatality in MKD.

Mileena's MKD Face Chew fatality gave me the idea of her eating a guy up from crotch to face.

Jade's MKT Impalement fatality gave me the idea of having her use that staff of hers to shove inside the guy's butt.
 
At this point and time I'm only interested in Kotal Kahn. And it does sound good that he has no relationship to Shao Kahn, that would've been too cheap. This is Mortal Kombat, not Offspring Kombat. Scorpion comes second. Guy's a legend, period.
