I'd take Sonya over Johnny , but they're both in the game, so b!tching and complaining won't change that. My favourites aren't gonna be on the roster, but that won't stop me buying the game. Look at it - it's effin' beautiful!! Hell, I'm even gonna get a PS4 just to play MK X on it because that's how visually great it looks! It's a bummer I won't get Tanya or Li Mei (since I never thought Sindel would have had a chance anyway) but i'm hella excited to play and try out these newbies

Let's not compare at all. She plays nothing like Johnny or Sonya. Johnny never had command grabs and Sonya never had bombs come out of the sky that lead into combos. She her own character, not a copy.

Because for months on end the stupid "Herp derp" bullshit of "those 2 are dead" and "those 2 can't be playable because Cassie is in" went on.
All that, despite Ed Boon being clear as day that Cassie could do Fatalities on relatives, Adam Urbano saying that Johnny is playable and German GamePro confirming those 2 along with Liu Kang being playable.

Anyways, salty vaginas will be salty that "wahhhh, those 2 are wasted slots."

As much as I'd like him to be on the main roster, I think our best bet is for DLC.

As for Sarah Connor... ehm Sonya. She looks more serious this time,

In another article they say they fought against Shinnok in the first chapter. He is 99% playable cause he has 3 variations and his moves are similar to Shang Tsung's. If not playable then he is 100% a boss cause u can fight against him!!

According to The Kombat Tether, Shinnok uses a variety of speedy attacks and a robust arsenal of spells from his amulet in his Impostor variation, some energy rises from the ground like Shang Tsung's ground fireballs and he also has a Amulet blast spell that stuns the opponent for a free hit.

Just adding for nobody thinks he is a Shang Tsung copycat. Anyway, a good inspiration, since Tsung was sick on MK9.

And, the link Sermac posted mentions a possible copycat move.

Seems like Shinnok is going to have awesome and powerful unique moves, and maybe that mimic the opponent too.

He is looking VERY badass :laugh:
