MK Vs. ? - What crossover do you want?

I dont want to see any MK Vs.
Only one that even remotely works is MK Vs KI.

MK Vs Capcom (Insert Game title) - Will not happen at all, period. Unless Capcom USA can get Capcom JP to clear it. However Capcom Japan has flat out said in concrete they never want their characters shown in a MK fashion as far as model dmg/fatalities.
 
How about, instead of 'MK Vs. ?,' mortal kombat uses the Primal Rage characters as animalities for a few of the fighters. That would be awesome IMO.

SubZero -> Blizzard
Scorpion -> Diablo
Kano -> Chaos
Lui Kang ->Talon
Johnny Cage -> Sauron
Raiden -> Armadon
Sonya -> Vertigo

Old-school reference ftw! (if you have no idea what I'm talking about, google is easiest)
 
I don't ever want to see MK crossover with anything else again, I knew MKvsDc was a bad idea the second they announced it. The real problem with cross overs is that regaurdless of what is being crossed over one of the sides gets disrespected. Take Kratos being crossed over into MK9, their are a number of Fatalities and X rays that had to be toned down because Santa Monica couldn't handle anything over the top happening to their little mascot. As cool as Kratos is this is a big middle finger to MK comunity.

the only cross over character in existance that i think i would have welcomed to Mortal Kombat is Predator

MK vs Street Fighter obviously, but will never happen. Capcom is too stubborn and proud to let their characters go into western hands. The only way it would work is if they did it like Street Fighter X Tekken, and let each side make their own game. But again, being so prideful, Capcom would never give the players what they want. I mean, just look at how they treat Megaman, a character people totally love, but they still can't commit to giving players what they ask for.

I'd also like to see a MK vs Horror Icons. But, the problem with THAT one, is getting all the rights to the various characters to appear in the game. It can be done, but would NRS ever persue it? Not very likely at all.

That would be awesome and very possible imo. SF and MK are very popular games. No doubt each version would sell really well.

NRS version would be very gory with x-ray and fatalities obviously. Capcom version would be more light and cartoony. Ultra / Super oriented with Friendships and Babalities only as finishers. :)

Not sure which I would like more but I would definitely buy both for sure. :)

SF is Capcom Japan. It's not possible as far as the team has said multiple times they don't want their characters shown in that fashion. SF x Tekken was doable because both teams are Japanese developers and both Ips are successful in Japan and US.

Mk is American development and never had much success in the Asian Market.

MK VS Killer Instinct would be my first choice. MK versus streetfighter would be second choice. I wouldn't let MK VS DC spoil cross overs for you guys, MK VS DC was just a bad one, a good crossover can be made.

Do you have a source for this? Because that's pretty ridiculous to believe w/o one. In fact I'm calling shenanigans unless you've got some article.

As for the crossover issue....it'd almost never happen, but I'd be all for Mortal Kombat vs. Thundercats.

I'm obviously a fan of the latter given my screen name. There's potential for a great team up of sorcery between Mumm-Ra and Shao Kahn, or even a new Deadly Alliance angle with Mumm-Ra and Shang (my personal choice for the teamup) or Quan Chi and the MK goodies needing the help of the Thundercats.

Don't worry though all you MK people that say you'll burn your xbox/ps3 if they decide to do another cross over. WB won't take a property they're currently marketing a new show for on Cartoon Network this summer aimed at kids and pair it with an adult rated video game property it also owns. Maybe one day if WB decides to take a more adult route with Thundercats the way Hasbro did with G.I. Joe when they put out Resolute on Adult Swim....but for the time being you're safe from this happening.

MKvs... Wait for it... Disney studios.
It would be the best crossover ever. It would appeal to a much younger audience, and friendships would definitely make it into the game.
