I liked that Raiden had finally regained his strength and was using his electricity to fight off the asylum guards when they tried to tazer him.
Plus, I liked seeing him get his hat at the end of the episode.
The episode also showed that Raiden has a human side to him too, like in the games, when he reasons with people.
 
That was actually a very impressive trailer. I wasn't that impressed with the Scorpion and subzero fight that was shown during the summer but Lui Kang looks like he's a beast in this one. Loved the bones breaking and gore so hopefully this one will deliver. Really not liking this guy as Raiden though. Seems awful at acting.

Seriously though, the trailer looked great and it's better we are getting all of them at once. Can't wait.

LOL, Luckily only a half truth since Bloody Disgusting made it sound like the entire core of said character....Atleast this means that this element wont be explored in a movie...Hopefully.
 
Looks pretty awesome huh? I actually like the new Raiden ,as someone with Asian lineage(1/4 Chinese from my dad's side. he's half black, half Chinese) I always wondered why he was portrayed as a non Asian in the movies, moot point moving on. I'm really digging the whole feel of this entry a lot darker and it seems a lot more thought out in it plot and choreography. cant't wait!!!

I heard that too and I hope its true.
So I aint gotta wait no whole damn week for no 7 to 12 minute episodes especially when in S1, half the total episode time was for the credits to roll. I hated that shit.

The New trailer did look awesome though. I guess Cage is next in Liu Kang's ' humanity' list, lol. Cool seeing his background story though, now i kinda have a taste of way he is tryna Fuk people up. Tis a heavy thing to lose a loved one... BUT at least Kitana's there, so she'll suffice.

and i guess that 'store clerk' rumor wasn't quite so far from the truth. lol



The more I look at Scorp in this series, the more I have to say that I actually like scorpion's outfit. Not because he's my #1, but his outfit actually Does look cool to me. May Vengeance be his and give him strength to kill Sub Zero.
 
Someone asked Kevin if the episodes being released at once was true on twitter and he replied saying truth. So there you go. They're all releasing on the 26th. Can't wait.

Sept 26th = MK Legacy Marathon, hope I aint gotta work that day.

Did he say what time they would be uploaded? I dont wanna be waitin all day for em like some of the episodes during last season.
 
As far as time goes, I haven't heard anything. At least we can watch them all in one shot like a movie though. That's gonna be awesome. Now I wonder what will come next, the movie or season 3.
 
My Thoughts on the New MK Legacy Trailer

Oren Uziel, who wrote Mortal Kombat: Rebirth, is supposedly working on the movie.

If that's the case, then I'm skipping that garbage.
I'm not wasting $10 to see a movie by Oren Uziel.
MK: Rebirth was utter shit.

Don't think you're judging too quickly? I liked the atmosphere that Rebirth gave, if we get that, and non-BS like barakka being a doctor with blades in his arms. Then I'm alright with it.

I'll be honest I'll skip a rebirth film as well, but if they are basing the movie off the latest legacy episodes, and I get that serious dark tone in that rebirth trailer. I'm good to go.

I hated the atmosphere that Rebirth gave.
Mortal Kombat is MAINLY set in a fantasy element, and while a movie about a tournament would have SOME elements of realism in it, MK is not real world horror.
Reptile having heads in the fridge was borderline Saw horror.
MK isn't horror.
Legacy has the perfect balance of realism and fantasy, IMO.

The Legacy writers would have been great for a movie adaptation, but they aren't the ones writing the movie script.
If they go the Legacy route, I'm fine with it, but given that the Rebirth writer is the one that's doing it, I highly doubt it.
