Yeah.
I really would just want either one of them (NetherRealm or GameStop) to make an "Official" announcement.

The way it's turning out, Gran Turismo will be out before the HD Kollection. :(

Both the site problems or any PR related matters are up to the publisher though (I think WB was handling the site entirely in fact). Developers, no matter how prolific they are, are always restricted by what their publishers allow them to say.

We'll see, but again, I very much doubt this thing will be released in a month's time. If it does, it'll set a precedent on upping Sega's many many questionable moves.

I've just take another look at the trailer Midway released on the American PSN for MK2, when this game came to PS3... And guess what : the very first words you can see are "HD"... It means that, for the studio, this upscaled version of the game was "HD".

Don't you think it is a good argument for those, like me, who hardly believed to the "new re-shoot, new actors" theory of MK HD Arcade Kollection ?

Where did you see this video? I just watched the trailer (online) and I saw the letters "HD" nowhere. The video itself was considered to be "HD", but I didn't see those letters in the trailer itself. If you can, please link to the video you're referring to or tell me where to view it. Thanks!

Okay. It has been stated that people have been reshot for MK on something. WHAT, if anything do you guys think that was?

I've download this video on the amreican PSN, with my european PS3... Just take a look at the "M" letter, in the "MK2" folder... It must be in !

But i hope i'm wrong, and will be able to play a brand new UMK3 on my ps3 in november !!

Does anyone know if this game has been changed from a disk to a PSNetwork game? I called gamestop about this and they said their best guess is that the game will be a download instead o the planned disk, which sucks because I don't have PSNetwork, does anyone know if this is still supposed to be a PS3 disk? Honestly, I'm more excited about this Kollection than the re-boot, I just hope this really happens!

Bear in mind that your average Gamestop employee pulls stuff out of his/her ass, so I doubt it. My local mom & pop store has a listing for Nov. 16 as well so the waiting game continues.

However, I wouldn't rule out a dual release on both disc and PSN.

Exactly. So my next question is this: WHY are there some people who deny this ever happened or that this little factoid ISN'T true? WHY are they assuming that it's just upscaled ports?

Where would a local store get their info that wouldn't be available to "connected" people on the internet?

Probably because they didn't read the whole article or they're just assuming the worst.

I'm about to start telling myself it's gonna come out in January or February so when it DOES come out on the 16th, I'll be nicely surprised.

My next question: Why is it so hard to believe that it's not coming out on the 16th as a true HD reshot kollection? There's stores ALL OVER the place with the same release date. Is it common for stores to get a release date on shit that isn't ready and it come out much later?

Their supplier's database, and those type of databases is what prompted listings online. Nothing different there.

Because it's like the boy who cried wolf.
He faked a wolf attack many times before, scaring the villagers.
One day the wolf really attacked him and no one cared, because they thought he was still joking around.

The same thing goes for the HD Kollection.
Various websites have put the Kollection up and taken it down so many times, that when they have a valid date, people are like "Yeah sure."
It's like Gran Turismo 5 and Duke Nukem.
After a while of being promised false release dates, people stopped having faith that it would come out any time soon.

Well, to be honest i'm pretty excited about this collection even though I do not have a ps3 but only a 360.Hopefully later on they will release a 360 version of course I would definitely be waiting for a price drop imo it's not really worth the 40 bucks.

Just because the game is supposed to be released in less than one month, and we still know nothing official about this game, and still SAW nothing !

Give me just ONE SINGLE PICTURE of this re-shoot, and i will believe you ! (as well as considering you like a you a sort of human god :)

PS : it take one entire month to edit a game (burn DVD's, print cover, send to magazines and webzine..) It means that if the game will be release the 16th November, it is absolutly finish... So why can't we get some pictures of it ?
