I think I've seen this listing before. Right now I've seen listings of 11/16, 11/17, 11/18, 12/03, 12/17, 12/30, 1/31/11, 3/03/11 and 4/12/11.

Obviously, I'd love for the 11/16 (Tuesday) to be true, but at this point, I think there's less than a 1% chance that happens (sorry, I just can't give it a 0% chance!). If not that, I'd be perfectly fine with a 12/03 release, though I would think the US release might be something like 11/30 or 12/07, since games here are released on Tuesdays.

Why, oh why, won't anyone at WB, NRS, Backbone, Sony, etc. just say SOMETHING??? I don't care, honestly, if they comment and say "Sorry, the game has been cancelled." That would be sad, but at least we would know. Why keep us in the dark?

Edit: Overstock.com had long been naming 11/17 as the date... they just now updated their listing to April 12, 2011! Maybe this is a mistake, considering 2 things: 1.) That's about the time MK9 is supposed to come out and 2.) they don't even have MK9 listed! If they release MK HD a week before MK9, well, you fill in the blanks.

That April date scares me. Because aren't demos typically released only a month or a few weeks before the game is? So maybe that could be a real date

What I find incredible is how excited I seem to be for this release and yet I don't even own a PS3. I own an Xbox 360. If and when this is released, you PS3 guys feel generous enough to post of video footage of the game? Maybe some screenshots?

now everybody knows im always the first to complain about mk unprofessionalism,but in the case of mk hd they never took responsibility for it so you cant blame them,but you can blame the folks who gave out the fake information

I don't have PS3 either, so if this only comes out for the PS3, I'll be investing in a new system. I want to get one anyhow, but this will certainly encourage me to get one sooner.

MK9 is being officially released April 19. That date of April 12 definitely makes sense if it was just for the demo of MK9 on Xbox Live or PSN. But there's NO chance of the MK Kollection coming on that day in the US. Never would any company release two games in the same game series a week apart to directly compete with each other for sales. Shareholders would riot at the stupidity of WB.

For the same reason, I think it is impossible for the MK Kollection to come out in the window of March-June 2011 (for the U.S. release). And I don't think it will come out after MK9 since including the MK9 demo in the Kollection will only add a lot of sales to both games. So I'd say that there is a good chance of the Kollection coming either this month, December, or January.:) I think January being the sweet spot, not close enough to take away sales from each other, but not far away enough where the demo is forgotten about before release of MK9.

As for that Zavvi release date of December 3, that is a UK site, it is likely that different countries will get the Kollection on different release dates. The only date that is official is the US date of MK9. I haven't heard of anything official for MK9 Europe release date. Anyone know?

Retailers do not put out release dates from fake information or rumors. The MK Kollection exists and is coming, we just don't know how soon. It's rare for a game to NOT change release dates.

I'm assuming this will be DLC only. I was kinda hoping to be able to get the actual disk to add to my kollection.

Just woke up and noticed the new links. Damn! What is going on? Yesterday, I gave the game a 1% chance of arriving next week. After seeing the Sony listing, as well as the Blockbuster listing, I think I'll boost it to a 20%. I had actually gotten to the point where I wouldn't be disappointed when the game wasn't available Tuesday or Wednesday.... now, I just might be. Why do they play games with us???

It's the same box art we've seen previously, but it does look a bit different. Notice that [RP] in the bottom left (ESRB rating sticker). Before, it was the rating system from some other country. Also, in the upper right, it says, "Only on Playstation". Could this be a glimpse at the US box art (not that it's much different), or just someone who updated the other one a little?
