Where do you all think Tremor is from?

middle east, latin america? I think he should be a darker skinned ninja.

Yeah Mavado looks Nicaraguan. I said that because he looks like the guy that liked me back in high school but was stuck in the closet.

Now Kano's nationality should be listed under controversy. Kano's original bio officially states that he was "orphaned by an American woman in Japan". However, since 1995, Kano has carried an Australian accent, beginning with the MK movie released that same year. Since the "orphaned by an American woman in Japan" portion has never been retconned in writing, I am led to believe that the accent is a tribute to the late Trevor Goddard, who played the role of Kano in the 95 movie.
 
I want Mavado to be from Mexico like his original story they were gonna have for him!! Maaan, it's not everyday you'll see a Mexican fighter like that. I hate those stupid wrestler ones from other games.

Reptile: God knows where he could have been from.
 
Reptile: Possibly Pangaea, if he was born on Earthrealm. Since Reptile's species originated in Earthrealm prior to evacuating to Zaterra (which was later merged with Outworld), this opens the possibility of Earthrealm birth...except we don't know where, but if the Pangaea theory is to be believed, then he had to have been born while the Earthrealm continents were physically one single continent, which was millions of years before there was any such thing as nationalities.

But we have a brazillian character. Tanya from Mortal Kombat 4 is a yellow ninja with some forest-amazon style.

So 64 mk characters and no latino/hispanic Mk fighters... how is that posible when latinos make up a huge percentage of the world population, looks like ed boon and tobias might be racist, specially when tobias seems to be of hispanic descent.

Kabal: He looks Latino to me or a half-breed Latino.

Liu Lang: China

Kung Lao: Filipino or Some other Asian. (Dacascos was of Filipino descent I believe but for sure the guy who played as Kung Lao in MK Conquest IS Filipino.)

Hsu Hao: Mongolian

Mavado: Latino

Kano: Australian

Kira: Australian, European, Middle Eastern (since her story in MKD says she was doing something in Afghanistan), Latina (I know a lot of Latinas who have that red hair that looks like her), or USA.

Nitara: If she doesn't originate in a different realm, she'd probably be European (since vampires have been said to originate in Europe if I can remember), Latina (her second MKDA outfit reminds me of J.Lo in her "I'm Glad" video, or Japanese since she has that Geisha look.
