Man of Steel (WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD)

Zod and Faora are both Kryptonians, though.
They seemed to like each other.
 
This movie exceeded my expectations. The overall story and action in this movie is great, I always preferred Zod over the tired ass Lex Luthor villian. Zod is like a reflection of Kal-El if he had no conscience or restraint.

Faora-Ul stole the show imo. Her character wasn't the loud-preachy type like Zod, she just took his orders and carried them out. Her evolution speech to Kal while beating the shit out of him was badass!

The Zod/Superman fight was equally awesome. Well done on the effects! At the end Kal had to make a choice: Let Zod kill the innocent family or kill Zod. Obviously he took the latter but he wasn't happy about it. He screamed out in agony that he had to kill to protect the innocent plus the fact he killed off the last member of his race. I felt for him. But perfectly justifiable in that situation, I would've done the same.


Overall great movie! I rate it 9.5/10

you know i didnt realize it till someone pointed it out on another forum. when superman snaps zods neck to save the family didnt you notice the family wasnt there afterwards and he screams? what are the chances zod still managed to kill them?
 
i was thinking how a sequel can work and i came up with this





3 months after the events of man of steel 1 the people are still getting over of the invasion by zods forces and not being alone in the universe, at this moment lex luthor spends those 3 months digging through the wreckage left over by the world engine and trys to reverse engineer the technology. he also decides to run for president of the united states. he bases his campain on how superman is a threat to the world and is not a hero people believe him to be. superman go's to the united nations to have open talks with the leaders of the world and becomes a symbol not just for the usa but for the world itself.

lois lane becomes under alot of stress on being a reporter for the daily planet and debates wether or not she can keep kal-el's secret of him working there.

luthor does whatever he can to win the office and even manages to fake a video of superman killing innocents over seas wile superman trys saving a squad of soilders in the middle east who try doing a raid.



luthor also builds his famous robotic suit and fights superman in wich he uses sun rays that are similar to kryptons wich would weaken the man of steel
 
I just came back from seeing this movie, and it was fvcking sick.

Spoiler:
I liked how when Superman was having his final battle with Zod, Zod throws a truck at him that read Lexcorp on it. (maybe a hint that Lex Luther will be the villian in the next installment.


But one thing that disappointed me was

There wasn't a scene in the movie where Superman flew through rings :rolleyes:
