Now I remember the convention for DV Vs MK and I remember the reaction THEN when they revealed that Jax was in the game. They called out 4 character names, Jax was the only one they went "boo" over, in fact for the entire CAST reveals they did including that con.
You know what of the main cast... Jax isn't that popular.

Jax was definitely more awesome in MKII. The cybernetic implants are really cool and one of his defining features...but despite having them he doesn't use them enough. He squished heads in MKII...with his BARE HANDS. What could he do if he really let those cyber-puppies loose?
The groan for Jax at his MKvDC reveal was just because there were other characters people wanted more is all.

I think the groans at Jax had much more to do with it then ppl just wanting to hear diff characters
but yeah the cyber arms were always cool but the MK team needed to be more creative with them

No... Jax is apparently the least popular of the main cast. I had a poll from that era once showing who was popylar and who was not. The rest of the MK cast in that game were more or less the favs, Jax was there for more or less the reasons his always been there. His part of the MK furniture. :-/

That's quite funny to hear since Jax is God Tier in MK2 not to mention one of the most used in the game..never knew he wasn't that popular from what i know. most of my friends (who are complete MK noobs) love Jax..... they call him "that black guy with the metal arms"

such a shame ppl cnt look past the skin colour cause hes a decent character much better then urgh Stryker
so would I, though I do like Nightwolf
anyway I hope they develop Jax a little more, he has potential because of his metal arms...

For Jax, I believe one of his fatalities will be a mixture of his MK2 finishers. First he rips off the arm and then crushes the head with his hands.

i think jax should walk behind you and reach through your chest with his hand holding your heart in his hand. then he should squish it. but this would only be good if he has the metal arms. i would like to see 1 costume with the metal arms and 1 without them. i hope jax has that move where he slams you back and forth. he better not do that thing where his arms turn into blades like on mk3, that was just dumb. but ya id rather pick jax than some characters. i just hope they make him a little more believable in this game. he also better not grow into a giant and step on you in this mk.

Don't know how this turned into a create a fatality for Jax thread but what the hell why not. Jax does a massive ground pound. The opponent's knees buckle and they fall backward. Jax slowly walks over to them being the huge menacing black man that he is the opponent desperately tries to crawl backwards away from him. With one final ground pound to the opponent's chest Jax saves the criminal justice system time and money, crushing their chest cavity, making their internal organs external.
Now back on topic with 10 hard confirmed and about 5 confirmed in interviews when are we going to get some bad ass renders? The HD screen caps are awesome but I loved the MK vs. DC renders.
