Predator's 3 becoming a high is going to be a huge nerf I think. It's his best mid and his main way of keeping you locked down.
I know he was strong, but nerfing both his damage AND his setups is too much imo. Have to wait and see I guess.


Tremor got some huge buffs too. Lot of frames got shaved off. But my god, Reptile's puke buff has me feeling like Chrsitmas morning. Finally my corner setup can be viable against Kung Lao.

So why are they trying to make Kano players use Up laser ?
It's faster I guess but we already have up ball for anti air options. I would rather have a straight laser or a more reliable overhead.
Kano's laser attacks need to be Fatalities (like MK3), not special moves.

Yeah I'll have to see how that plays, but the fact that F3 is now a low crush is huuuuge.

True, but it starts up so damn slow.

I don't see it as being something amazing, but we'll see where it goes because most D1's hit mid. I don't think it'll "Low crush" mids :laugh:

Now, If it did. Then it'll be god tier.

I know you won't agree with me but Kano's brutality ending with the eye laser is pretty cool actually.
Not a fatality sure, but pretty cool anyway.

Glad to see that those 2 got some additional love, which may make me pick up the game again, once I've done a few more Dishonored runs.
Raiden's Teleport felt a bit slow in Displacer, to me, and I'm glad that Cryomancer has better buffs, as well.
So glad that I picked up Cryomancer Sub-Zero.
I may try out Unbreakable as well, but Cryomancer and GM will definitely be the 2 main variations that I will spend most of my time with, from now on.
 
I'm probably going to dust off X as well. Put some time in with some more characters and some old mains. Just after I'm done kicking ass in the Michael Keaton batsuit.

Was hoping for a few more juggles from some characters that need it like Erron Black.
 
Can you explain option select?. Am not really familiar with fighting games terms

In MKX, you could do a normal move, cancel into a special and then move your stick around before the special came out. This would flood the inputs and create a beneficial situation. If the normal hit, the special move would come out. If the normal was blocked, nothing would happen. People would do this so their unsafe specials wouldn't get punished.

His laser should be exclusively reserved for Fatalities.

Just the same way that Sub-Zero's Ice Clone, Scorpion's Spear, Liu Kang's Bicycle Kicks, Raiden's Teleport, Johnny Cage's Nut Punch and Sonya's Energy Ring should also be reserved only for Fatalities in MKX? :laugh: :rolleyes:

The laser started off as a Fatality that actually killed someone; that's why it should be exclusively a Fatality. Even Jarek had the laser as a Fatality (despite having no physical means of shooting such lasers).

Although I must say a far bigger travesty is Scorpion's Toasty being a special move in MK4 (despite also being a Fatality in the same game).

They made Kano's eye laser a variation-specific special move in MKX, just the same way that they made the Ice Clone (Sub-Zero) and Teleport (Raiden) variation-specific special moves.
 
I'm interested in figuring out how Kotal's air grab buff work. If it's any good then Kotal anti-air game is wicked. He can consistently punish jump in for massive damage; especially if he has a totem/charge. Combine that with his gorgeous J1 and the air is Kotal territory.

What the f#%k did they do to Takeda? :afraid:
