I always find it funny that when people are challenged, and challenged well, instead of coming to grips with the argument and you know, actually presenting a cogent argument in return, they just run (like squirt), or stick their fingers in their ears and hum a pleasant song (like reiko).

It sucks to have your beliefs challenged, I know, but it's how we progress as a society. I hate to see people run and censor others from their lives rather than coming to terms with the opposing views - but ah well. Adios, as they say.

Reiko told someone to kill themselves and then blocked a bunch of people because he couldn't handle their arguments, and squirt has threatened to leave us all forever (though hopefully he changes his mind).

Plus I think we were working our way to Cassie being adopted or something.

I have yet to display my true thoughts and views mainly so i wont get banned and places like these with mods and sensitive members limit you to be sometimes who you truly are. Not Mean or anything im friendly. I just recently joined forums. Ive come to see forums are a place where you interact with strangers. Lets just say Forums are more so for people who are more open minded, neutral and forgiving. Im not one of those people.

You're only half right; forums aren't necessarily for open minded, neutral, or forgiving people. Forums are for people whom can have discussions

If someone were to say "I don't want a Gay Character in MK11 because reasons X, Y, and Z", that is totally different from "Gay characters don't belong."

Yikes. Okay, so here's how it is. The hot second that NRS decided they wanted to flesh out the story and characters, everything was on the table. So to answer those questions : What purpose does a heterosexual character serve? Why does MK need a straight character? And it's not about political correctness. If you want to flesh out your characters, different sexualities are going to be a factor at some point. I mean, within ALL of the realms there aren't ANY gay people? Nah. That's hilariously stupid.

Some of you children are so ignorant and out of your minds, it's almost frightening.

This is why homosexuality needs to be talked about in schools. Sadly, ignorant children have got their ignorant parents to jump in and put an end to that. Depressing sh**. I can't believe in 2015 people STILL think being gay is a choice. lol

As a teacher I can only applaud this comment.
You'd be shocked if you knew how immature some parents behave when it comes to homosexuality. They fear their children could be infected or something. It's really disappointing.
