In an interview where Boon mentioned Jason and Ash

This was from gamefaqs from the user SpartenX20 so credits to him, but in an interview apparently Ed wanted both Jason and Ash to show up in the next MK after MK9. Here's the interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fy-q2XMCQY
He does, jokingly or not, say that they're "in for the next game", and Jason was confirmed. It may be a little farfetched, but what do you think?
 
Ash is never going to be Mortal Kombat. Sam Raimi does not like having other people use his character without his control. He told New Line Cinema that they could not use Ash for Freddy vs. Jason 2. So I doubt he will allow Ash to be in MK.
 
Oh yeah, I watched it, but there was no way in hell I would know people were talking about that Ash. And I didn't remember his name to be honest, I remember him as the guy from Evil Dead.
 
Ash in MK would be cool. I did write a Mortal Kombat vs. Army of Darkness crossover when I was in High School. It had Shao Kahn trying to retrieve the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis and Ash was summon by Raiden to help project Earthrealm. I also wrote a scene with Ash fighting Scorpion at S-Mart. I never finish it and publish it online. I'm pretty sure other people thought of the idea before.

Ash could also fit in the Soul series too if they can try to tie in the Soul Edge and the Necronomicon together.
 
Hmmmm according to Wikipedia there’s going to be an Evil Dead TV-Series this spring. They could put him into the game as some sort of promotion like they did with Freddy. Who knows?
 
Can we do other franchises besides horror for once since there's other characters that would fit into the MK universe. No one is asking for Luke or Spock to be in SC6.
 
The only guest characters that the majority would accept are Jason, Spawn and Predator. That's a pretty damn good line up and they fit well into the dark side of MKX. Don't you agree?

Ash did star in the 'Freddy VS Jason VS Ash" series..actually..both of them in 2007 and 2009 I believe.
They just never made him into the movie.

Predator in MK is like loud garbage.
 
Comic is different though. MK is going to have Ash be rip into pieces and get his skull crush alive. I'm not sure if Sam Raimi will like that.

Lol dont worry. Ive only noticed THIS recently: Tails Miles Prower from Sonic the Hedgehog... Miles Prower = miles per hour lol

Anyway, back on topic, Ash from Evil Dead is cool and everything, but I dont think he'd fit. Hell I dont even think Freddy or Jason fit in either. They just look out of place in the game.
 
I haven't heard any rumors about Ash's inclusion in the game, but I am ALL for it. It's funny, when that first screenshot of Johnny Cage leaked, me and my friends agreed that he looked a bit like Bruce Campbell. I have my doubts that he'll make an appearance, but in the very slim chance he does, I'll be a happy happy boy. Evil Dead 2 is my favorite horror movie ever, and Army of Darkness is one of the most quotable, enjoyable action movies of my past. (Even if it is pretty goofy)

Also, it's not that crazy for Ash to be a guest character in a game. He's one of the players in Poker Night At The Armory 2, and he's great in it!
 
I don't think Ash is widely known enough to bother using him, I have heard about him on a few forums but that's it. I'd rather they brought Freddy back so people could do the Jason vs Freddy this time.
