I think DLC is a failure

This video interview with Boon from last year, he talked about putting in a infrastructure in place to allow them to put out new kharacters,STAGES,FATALITIES,etc.. and yet rumor is that they plan on stopping DLC after the 4th kharacter, which I pray to god isnt true cuz thats not being aggressive with DLC. They already said they would not put stages,game modes,Brutalites or Friendships as DLC and thats f-ing stupid, unless they plan on putting out a UMK9, which would be the smart thing to do cuz it cost less to do that and they can put out the things they wanted to but didnt have time to do.
 
Just be greatful for what you do have, and if you dont want to be, simply don't buy their products. That's like sayimg wow Microsoft promised us Halo 4 with MMO capabilites but instead we only got 16 player online, **** microsoft.

And my bad if its a bad analogy but yeah get a grip bro.
 
I do not think they will stop after the 4th kharacter.. I mean, for the Xbox they got a SEASON pass. I think there is more to come. NRS wants our dough.. and it would be rediculous to stop now.
 
the worst DLC idea thankfully never even happened
and that was Quan chi as mk vs dc dlc.

Please just stop talking about a UMK9... If NRS keeps reading about this shit, they'll think that WE want it, but only a minority wants to play more $50 on the same game! I see people everywhere talking shit about Capcom for doing a UMVC3, and yet here some guys WANT a UMK9!!! It's just absurd! Don't you have better ways to spend your money???
 
Not only should we get 4 characters and a bunch of classic costumes, NRS should send us all personalized e-mails thanking us dearly for being fans, swearing their undying allegiance to us, and taking interest in our student and car loans, our medical bills, and our aspirations for the future. NRS should make an announcement of "just kidding" and give us brutalities, extra fatalities, characters, and boxes of chocolates. All for free. Then, they should go and re-hire those UMK3 actors and actresses, give them Botox treatment, steriods and hair transplant surgery so they look young and buff, and do the MK:HD Kollection, and give this also to us for free. Oh, and they should give a never-ending supply of DLC characters for that, as well. Just have minor actors and actresses come and create a character ad-hoc and film the frames, and release them all the same day. Finally, Ed Boon should be tied down to his chair on live stream, and filmed crying while his caterpillar eyebrows are shorn off with a buzzer.

I personally think all the DLC sucked, save Ermac, Sub-Zero and Reptile's MK1 costumes.


Skarlett, Kenshi and Rain are major bores for me.
Cyrax and Sektor's MK3s look like someone enabled the "big head mode" cheat.
And I care nothing for Kitana, Jade or Mileena.
 
Well i for one get the DLC.... And still hoping they do Frost yet!

Otherwise maybe it's time they work on MK10 for 2012 and get that ready so we can have a new game next year!

But Frost would of been nice to had... AWW!

An UMK9 wouldn't be a bad thing, if they ONLY released it when they released all the DLC characters, made it compatible with MK9, and otherwise kept it the same. It would allow people to get their friends into it at one low price.

Exactly bro.

There is no "Feed Boon" charity fund.
So the next best thing is for him to make DLC so I can throw more money his way.
