Thats one thing i would disagree with 100000 percent
never would i wanna see a DBZ character outside of those lame DBZ games
if i had to choose it would for sure be

Heh, DBZ chars would bring nice profits. And there is an advantage of DBZ over e.g. DC Universe -> DBZ chars could be brutally mutilated, killed in some cruel way etc.

True, but I would rather they try for Ash rather than see something stupid in the game. Like say, a Big Daddy (not saying Big Daddy's are stupid, but they wouldn't fit at all...)

If its not from MK he/she doesnt fit at all, no matter how awesome, violent, gruesome and famous he/she is.

Seriously though, I disagree; Rick Taylor/Terror Mask from Splatterhouse would fit; as long as the character is violent, gory, and capable of taking itself none-serious, they fit in MK like a glove as a guest character.

He's in Soul Caliber too, and he's fairly popular.

Guests aren't a bad thing guys. When the Master Cheif shows up and ***** slaps Shao Khan in the story mode, THA's when we need to complain.

At least M.Chief is from a game, Kratos doesnt belong but he's from a videogame so that's why I think he fits more than Freddy.

Yeah, Yoshi has been in SC3 and SC4, don't know about any of them after that, though.

Raze is from Raze's Hell, where "Cute cuddly creatures of good origins, intentions, and thoughts" get it into their head that they have to help the Ugly creatures of the world, get militant about it, and Raze goes on a warpath killing them because he doesn't want to get cuddly.
 
The problem I have with all these "guests", is that they just dont fit in beyond "Yay, theyz the horroz, theyz gotz the gore and blood lulz".

I mean the MK characters aren't just mindless thugs, take away their powers and they are still world class martial artists. If you took Ash's power (oh yeah, he has none) or Freddy (yeah did you see the Freddy film where he did all those martial arts....what do you mean no?) then they wouldn't stand a chance.

I'm not trying to go too far down the realism route, but all the MK combatants are still awesome warriors, even without their powers. The others aren't. They are icons and that is it. In the first NOES, when Freddy is brought into the real world by Nancy, he is defeated by Home Alone like weapons. With or without a chainsaw, Ash wouldn't last 5 seconds against Lui Kang or anyone on the roster.

This is what I find ridiculous about the new guests. Freddy doing combos, I mean wtf?

I'm against guests, but if they must happen, it'd be nice for them to have some sort of martial art background, not a horror one. MK isn't just blood and guts.
