Sorry I didn't reply to your PM yet so I'll just do it here..

Against Reversals and Wake ups I usually just try to bait/read and punish. Since Catdash Meter burned is her only Armor special and you have to activate the MB version it's not all that good to stuff wake-ups but you do have that J1 that stuffs ANY wake-up that's 14-16 frames on start up.

You could always do that Empty cancel option select tech with MB B3/F3 but it's hard to do it online though.

Welcome to the club ;)

Catwoman has a surprisingly steep learning curve. Some of her strings inputs are wacky and she has a number of bad MUs(Grundy, Bane, Strokes, Sinestro,Aquaman,Doomsday). She requires a lot of practice to get good with. Very execution heavy character.
 
And Patience..

You're going to be hold back and Down,Back for a while against Zonners until you find a clean hit, and from there you have to make every Mix-up count.

F1 is Godly though, but it's kinda hard to time it meaty though. I just stuck with B2 even though it started up in 23 frames vs F1's 16 frame start up.

When is the Injustice finals starting? The schedule says 2pm, which was 30 minutes ago. There is no stream on Twitch. Maybe delayed because Smash Melee stream is going on still? I guess I'll watch that until it's done then hope Injustice starts. Then Killer Instinct demonstration after!

It wasn't just any Superman though, It was KDZ.

I was rooting for Chris G to win it all, but I think that Doomsday counter-pick was a good choice but he waited until the last game though, and I'm sorry but Sups corner damage is ridiculous it was like someone gave him X-Factor from Marvel, other than that he's beatable. F2,3 is still strong as hell but almost all of the cast can whiff punish that shit if the Sups player doesn't space it right.

Another thing I noticed is that he was building Meter so fast with just using ground lasers, and meter is so important in this game.
 
Yes, KDZ is the best Superman player in the community. He definitely prove that. Superman is of course the best character in the game. That has already been proven. It's just makes for an uninspiring conclusion.

Is it time for NRS to buff the little guys or should the mid/low tier mainers just level up?
 
I think they should buff Low/Mid tier so they have a chance to compete, Nerfing characters just to nerf them is dumb. They could at least give them something in return for losing good tools.

Like for frost, Make the slide Negative on block, but to compensate give her a MB version of slide that has Armor but is still unsafe. So slide is still viable because her normals are ass and have no reach and her 50/50s aren't safe anymore. They took away some of her frame advantage on pressure strings.
 
Man that is a very good solution Vital.

They gave Bane the ability to charge through parry's now but in all honesty I don't think that was not needed. It made me work for getting in on my opponent, now I got a (slightly) get out of jail free card against Batman and Joker which is kinda dumb since it's only two characters.

I just want to see some serious buffs/nerfs to low/midtier characters
 
Two words. Buff Lex. Faster mines and orbs (maybe). But at least buff his backdash for heavens sake. It is so bad it can't even be used. Make his 1,1 hit mid like it specifies. It hits high and whiffs over alot of the other characters heads. it's a shame because 1,1 is his fastest normal combo starter. No love for my Lex.

Which is why I'm not in favor of nerfing characters because it can create unexpected problems. Buffing always works better because you can fix whatever's broken later.

Though, buffing only fixes one problem with the structure of this game. The other problem is that the top tiers are very easy to use while everyone else depends on excellent reads, match up knowledge and precise execution. You think Superman cares about match ups? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Superman laughs at the thought! Just f2+3 breath and shoot eye lasers.

EDIT: I agree with Known. Mid/low tier characters have to rely on match-up knowledge while characters like Batman, Supes, Negro Adam, Killer Dat Ass Frost just do.

Also I'm surprised no one has used Nightwing in a tourney yet, strange.
