Would love for that to happen. Even so I am still skeptical about her appearing any more in MK comics. They might show her, when Sonya is interrogating her about Cassie. But I get a feeling this was a just a nice cameo.

Don't know about the comics, she can even make a cameo on the game.
Because, for real, that fight isn't something that someone as arrogant as her would find normal.

Don't worry guys, I like Frost too.
Sub-Zero is awesome enough that he can share some of his icy awesomeness with a lady. (Although ideally they would no longer wear the same awesome outfit.)
The comic only serves to grant Frost additional awesomeness and leave her backstory open for the possibility of further depth.
Her variations; MMA, Sub-Zero with boobies, Nitara tribute variation
Plus I believe the theory that each of these factions will have multiple playable kombatants on the main roster. Since Cyrax is all but confirmed to be NPC and if Sub-Zero is Grandmaster Sektor probably is no longer his buddy, Lin Kuei ranks are looking pretty thin so far.
The world needs Frost.

I like how in the comics, they mentioned frost was an Orphan and she earned her place in the Deathmatch. That little bit of info really added depth to her character for me at least. So I say bring her back, redesign her and give her, her own moveset thats not a total carbon copy of Sub Zero

Look dude, I am a big Frost Fan but I think you might be taking this it bit too personally, did they treat her poorly, maybe, but hey at least they didn't kill her, she could still come back, maybe sub zero could finally teach her humility, or she will go further down the path of arrogance, who knows, but I am actual happy that she made an appearance at all, and she talks too!
on side note, I don't know why but I find Frost's new voice to be adorable

Frost represents 1 of the 2 worst things on the MK universe, those things are copycat characters and generic characters. Frost, along many others like Kira, represents the former and the likes of Darrius and Kobra the latter.
There's no need for a character like Frost that brings absolutely nothing new to the table when we could have characters with unique gimmicks like Skarlet (blood), Rain (water), Fujin (wind), Smoke (smoke) and many others.

Yet she woulf still be an ice character, why have 2 ice character when we can have a wind or a blood character or a *insert unique gimmick here* character.
There are already 3 fire characters in the game and it's annoying.

If NRS actually did make Frost unique, then sure, I would give her a chance. But they didn't. :/

Some would like to see Frost return, others don't. I'm one who would like to see her return with brand new ways to use cold in a fight that is completely opposite of Sub-Zero's.
I've stated it numerous times in this thread that I'm saying it one more time before I get tired of it, she can literally use snow, cold mist, freezing water. She does NOT need to freeze people.

I was actually one of the first persons that claimed that Frost could be a snow character and that that would be cool and I'd agree with her being in the game that way.
Yet you have to agree that most of the people that asks for frost are not like you, they are women who prefer to play with a female characters (which is OK and normal) and they just don't want to play with Sub because he's a guy so they ask for a lady sub.
(Yes I know you are a woman and I know you don't think like that)

I am glad you were happy for her appearance. Even so I had different expectations.
I would have been happier with her just standing in the background or hell even not appearing at all, dammit anything would have been better than this joke. She didn't even have an original costume. Just a simple copy paste from Sub Zero. Oh yeah and she had voice actor... yaaaay....
And I am actually surprised you thought that in the future they gonna do something more different about her.
A quick reminder.
Deadly Alliance = frozen by her own powers
Deception = frozen by Sub Zero
Armageddon = killed (not saying this outcome is bad)
Mortal Kombat X = frozen by Sub Zero again and left like some modern art statue in the background.
So what makes you think, they gonna do anything about her? I can guarantee they dealt with her even before story was complete.
There was no MK character to whom I got attached so much, like Frost. Since MKX announcement I was excited for her. And there was a reason why. Everyone they showed in MKX was different. EVERYONE. Hell LI MEI was made differently.
So of course I was just waiting for Frost redesign. Just to see something DIFFERENT. But...
it's like my friend said (who is also Frost fan). She feels like COD series now. Slightly better graphics, but same shit.
So I guess I should say Thanks NRS for showing the same damn thing, but now in CINEMATIC format! It is actually sad for me, that I would prefer to see her die somewhere in the background, than be put into this sorry state which is even worse than death. Raiden was right. But ok. At first I was angry, but now I feel like an idiot for putting so much hope. After all hope is the mother of all idiots. Figures.
Even so I am done with this matter. It is done already. They are devs and they can do whatever the f%ck they want. I just said my thoughts out loud in this forum. (unless it is prohibited to dislike something or be angry about something)

I am fully aware I am one of many Frost fans and my dislike/anger won't change anything, nor I am gonna try changing anything. Nor I will make Petitions to change that. I feel already stupid for making Frost for MKX petition in the first place. How didn't I see it coming...

Yeah, I know that there are some that would rather have her play identical like Sub-Zero.
I am one of those who prefers not seeing a whole bunch of the same characters or the same elemental wielders. But if they can use them completely different than another, I am not against that.
I just prefer seeing some of these characters that should have at least one more shot at being a likable character rather than just tossed to the side. That's just really my whole take on it. But I can agree with what you say.

Sub-Zero is my favorite character in MK. A little more Kuai Liang then Bi-Han, but not by much. So when it comes to the discussion of Frost I'm not sure what to make of it. For instance, Why and how did she acquire Ice Powers in the first place. She doesn't appear to be related to any of Sub-Zero's family. That always annoyed me and gave me the impression they just added her in MK
A for the sake of adding new characters and to make a simple female Sub-Zero character who just took half of Kuai Liang's moves. It's fair to say NRS cares about her still because she appeared in the background of MK9 Pit and she appeared as a cameo in the MKX comics with a little bit of backstory.
Now that we have a 3 variation system in MK, I'd like to know how they would come up with 3 more unique variations that don't resemble Sub-Zero's. My only suggestion is no freezing attacks or ice clones. Maybe one freeze ability in one of her variations but it would have to be done differently. Overall it just seems pointless. All she wanted to do in MK was steal Sub-Zero's Grandmaster medallion and take over the Lin Kuai, which nobody wants to see go down. There's really no depth to her story as to why. You can redesign her all you want but it still comes down to the fact she is a "Female Sub-Zero" without any real explanation as to why she followed Sub-Zero and how she has those abilities. It never said anything about her being born with them or if he was able to teach her how to create Ice from her own hands.
