Agreed.

By also making this compatibility pack mandatory, they're going to try turn this DLC into a cash cow.
It's a balancing act really. A lot of people like Freddy and hate Freddy. Offset the negativity with a Alternate in demand and you have a sale.

Freddy's bablity is the same as his first fatality but only with 1 down. :P I found it first yush!

Combos I learned from various TYM users (Not one of these are mine)
jip, U3, U3, F4, 2, 1, EX Hell Spike, back up a little, jip F4, 2, 1, Close Hell Spike, F4, 2, 1 (Corner 63%)

Overhead starter:

jip, b2, close spike, dash in, ex spike, jip, f4,2,1, midspikes 43%

Low starter:

jip, b3,3, ex spike, jip, f4,2,1, midspikes 42%

2nd Fatality: Down Up Foward Back Block (Sweep)
Babality: Back Foward Down 1

Still looking for more.

This question might be irrelevant as DLC characters do not have alternate costumes but IF they would have! What alternate costume would you suggest for Freddy? ^^

Obviously some would say the Robert Englund version of Freddy but that's too similar for me.
It's basically just a different face.
I'd say a cool alt costume would be Casual attire freddy (pre burned and without fedora)

As the guy above me stated, Robert Englund's version would be the obvious choice. To differenciate him I suppose they could give him his outfit from WES CRAVEN'S NEW NIGHTMARE

Just did a 52% mid screen one bar combos that works in the corner too...

Overpowered much? Lol

I don't mind him, he's alright, but still would have preferred another MK character

i think we have a new kung lao haha i played wit him for five minutes hes got so many crazy options and his pressure is intense and crazy damage i reckon hell be very tough in de right hands

X-Ray Combo 45% - B+1, 2, U+1, Nightmare Stance (D, B, 3), 1 (From Nightmare Stance), Dash Forward, X-Ray.

Quite simple to pull off!

Yeah, his teleport is so quick! I think it's quicker than raidens. Here's the 52% combo I learnt with him by myself.

Jump in punch, F4,2,1, DF1(Enhanced), DF3, forward dash, F4,2,1, DF1, DBF1 = 52%

U can do it in the corner too, u just don't need the teleport, and the last 2 should both be DB1
