Ermac Thread - "We are Many, You are but One!"

What's ermacs Bnb's with damage percentage so I know I'm doing the full combo. Include MIdscreen corner and xyray how have the nerfs affected him?

I can't for the life of me get the JK > Force Port to go off with any consistency online, let alone if I do get it, the 2,2 after dash always seems to go off as forward+2 instead >,<

Just wanted to say thanks for all the work put into this thread, it is a major help. Also wanted to say that whoever can actually do some of these combos online is amazing =)

It does take time, Adam. Keep practicing, man. Use practice mode a lot, and honestly just keep practicing online too. Because you'll notice the timing is a little different online than in practice mode. The JK to Port wiffs sometimes because of mashing when you hit the Force Port input before you actually get the kick. Focus on the kick first, not the Port.

And the 2,2 also. Focus on the dash first before the 2,2. Try to keep them as separate as you can, but making sure it's quick enough to pull it off of course. Mashing buttons to fast is usually the case. Soon you'll find out the timing for it, and can use all types of inputs like 1,2 after port, or even 3,1,2 after port. Stuff like that. 2,2 is usually the best way to go though.

It's pretty hard, you have to practice it a lot.
If you use jump punch instead of jump kick, the combo does less damage but it's a lot easier, you should try it.

Always jump punch into a teleport. Always. I say it all the time. You lose minimal damage on the combo, but finishing it all more consistently is worth it in the end.

I agree the JP is WAY more consistent and easier, but against good players that extra % helps you that much more, man. Either way works though of course.

(after lift) JK, Force Port, JK, Force Port, D1, Force Push/EX Force Push is very fun to use if your opponent has no meter to break. Very satisfying.

hey guys im not sure if its up all ready but heres a really nice but tricky combo starter its B+2,1,F2 teleporrt,....... 2,2 or watever afterwards hes very versatile 40% ish i believe no meter ... online makes it hard enough to pull off but youll bask in your own greatness it looks really sweet

There are easier combos that does similar damage, but yep.

B+2, 1, F2 is so hard to pull off online haha but if you get it, it's great.

Just re-read this whole thread, Inception. There's a lot of talk about that, man. We even talked about it on this page.

Force Lift - JK - Force Port - force port always whiffs help

Is just practice, take advantage of the negative edge, kicking with the same button you teleport (4), if you cant do it just use JP instead of JK, it does less damage but is easier to connect, I personally can do it everytime but is just practice.

Easy 11 Hit, 37% 1 bar Corner combo

(always JP is you can get it), 3,1, Force Lift, B+3, 4, B+3, 4, 2, Ex TKP

or

14 HIT, 36% Corner combo, 1 bar

B+3, 4, B+3, 4, B+3, 4, Force Lift, B+1, 2, F1, Ex TKP (or 15 hit, 42% with X-RAY instead of TKP)

So is it instantly as the kick the kick connects a delay ? I dont really see anything outside of practice. Nothing really suggesting a effective way to do it timing technique anything. Unless I am blind

It really does, Raddus. Especially that last "Teleuppercut" thing he does. Love it.

I've been working the B+3, 4 corner combo hard lately. Lots and lots of fun as well. Hit my highest Ermac non-Xray combo online yesterday and wasn't even trying too. I was trying to do the 14 hit one I posted above, but instead it was

B+3, 4, B+3, 4, B+3, 4, Force Lift, B+1, 2, F1, Ex Lift

I've been really punishing people lately with his oki setup too.

Ermac rules. :)

when I play as reptile recently seems to me Ermac is hardest player to beat. Forceballs are out as forceport punishes it, force push seems to track everything and forcelift is hard to deal with too.
