I don't hate female sexuality. I just think that shit needs to be toned down in MK. It's becoming way too much of a distraction from what the focal point of MK should be (which should be the blood, gore, and Fatalities in the framework of a fighting game). Mileena is being singled out because she just happens to be the worst offender. If I want to look at naked women, I would go get a copy of Hustler, go to a strip club, or best of all, get myself a girlfriend.

I want the male fighters to have thong/speedo alternative costumes. I'm sure that would be fair.

I would love for Kitana and Mileena to return. I have a feeling they will. Fingers crossed! :)

While I agree with you for the most part.. yes her look (especially that ridiculous medical gauze outfit they gave her in MK2011) is pretty trashy. I'm not all that concerned whether they are made to look attractive or hideous.. I'm more concerned with their outfits in general looking good regardless of which direction they take it in. For me, whether she is to look like Jenna Jameson or Jabba the Hut I just want whichever look they go with to 1.) be unique and 2.) look like a great version of whatever the look they had in mind was..

As it stands I'm more invested in the gameplay and their storylines rather than there outfits and with that said.. of all the female ninja's Mileena has the most potential for a story line. (Kitana is your generic good guy role, and Jade.... ummm yeah, lol I don't even know/remember what the hell she's doing, which is my point exactly)

However, on a side note I would like to see any of the female fighters wearing something other than a bikini this time.
 
idk, Kitana is now one of Quang Chi's zombies, I doubt she will playable unless she ends up playing an important part in the story. I think Mileena might make the cut though.

Personally I hope Jade will be playable again.
 
I don't give a damn what women wear in real life, but in MK it's a different story. They went way too far with her in MK9. What was the point of the flesh pit costume?

This is a fighting game, not a sleazy porno. If I wanted to bash one out, I'd go on pornhub or something.

I know it's in MK's essence to be over the top and I can't say I care about the realism aspect with wearing high heels and stuff - it's a game. However, Mileena had me rolling my eyes. The other females did, too.

There's no reason to criminalise sexuality, but the point of it is using it right. Just like using stereotypes is not always bad, but if done where it really doesn't need to be, it ruins immersion and is silly.

Anyway, I think Mileena has a chance of being in. Kitana? I'm not so sure.

I agree. Mileena's costume was disgusting. But I was more offended by Sonya's. At least with Mileena it kinda sorta makes sense... But with Sonya... No. It was a disservice to the character. Why the hell would she wear high heels and an open vest exposing her breasts? That was some weird slutty military chick fetish crap.
 
If you guys want to talk technical then Mileena was only 1 maybe even 2 years old in MK9's story. Basically she has no damn sense meaning toilet paper costume was fine in her eyes.

Anyway on topic I hope Mileena makes it in so that she matures as a character.
Kitana is an up for grabs type of girl considering that she is a zombie so I doubt she'll return.

But regarding both Jade and Sindel for a moment:

Jade - No. I just can't see her coming back.

Sindel - Yes because she has Shang Tsung fused together with her soul. I'm going to speculate here but turning Shang Tsung into another part of Sindel's soul should have no effect really. I mean he consumes souls for a living so there's no doubt that he could possible override Sindel's soul and comeback from the dead. Idk but if Sindel returns with Shang Tsung in her still then I wouldn't mind too much
 
I agree, Ricochetmatt. As I said, I don't care about realism, but all that costume served was to make Sonya a sex symbol, and she is way above that.

And, Yung. You do have a point, but Mileena doesn't choose what she wears. NRS does.

If Shang Tsung DOES come back via a plausible story, I would love to see NRS do a new version of his Soul Steal Fatality, with the flesh rotting and the limbs falling off, now that they have the technology to do so.

Idk I feel that Shang Tsung has unfinished business with the whole story of MK9. i hope he comes back and tries to overthrow the ruler of Outworld or something

I agree that the females in MK9 were far too exposed... But with Mileena, it fitted her personality... Maybe its just me, but I thought her personality was amusing and creepy (in a good way),

After I first saw D'Vorah's bees eating the flesh off of the opponent's face, in my head, I was like "Holy shit, this gore technology would look awesome if applied to a Soul Steal type of Fatality."
 
So I finally got the time to do this. This is kind of how I want Kitana to look like in MKX (obviously with a lot more detail). She's wearing a corset, leather leggings with cut-outs on both sides, knee high heeled boots, and loose long hair.

Nice, hopefully they will make the hair a little more realistic, like with Lili in Tekken

I think this outfit is pretty nice and traditional (dont like the hair however). I think I prefer your design overall though

Mileena has a chance to make the cut considering she survived MK9. Kitana, it's tough to say. She is really popular amongst the MK community and always had a good story. I can see Kitana as DLC while Mileena in the main roster. If both do in fact are in MKX, they should get a bit of a make-over. Kitana should have her hair the same length as it was in MK2 and have an outfit fit for a princess. Mileena should have the veil she had in MKD and MKA and have a real good story in MKX. I don't want that slutty outfit she had in MK9.
