DLC News: Skarlet's Date, Rain Announced & Compatibility Packs

I guess this settles the whole fan-service argument for good. Extremely excited for Rain and Kenshi, but Skarlet looks like a force to be reckoned with as well.
 
im really hoping the 4th dlc fighter is Tanya. i love her. im sorry but there is not enough females in the game. women are just as good of fighters as males.

Love these vignettes, would love to see one for each MK 2011 character !! XD XD

** The ??? secret character DLC showed is probably a placeholder image, because they ,NRS, probably are deciding yet who is gonna be .....

Totally agreed! Sadly, that silhouette doesn't look like a female at all.
The male/female ratio in any fighting game should be the same as in real life: ~50/50.

I'm pretty sure the mystery silouette is just a filler. I really doubt that's what its going to look like.

If not, then I guess we get a blocky naked person, or a Toy soldier as the 4th character.
 
Awesome news. I doubt I'll get much use out of Skarlet and Kenshi, but I'm really looking forward to playing as Rain. If his moveset is based on MKT, he could be really fun to play as. He had a lot of potential, brokenness aside.

A big thumbs up to NRS for tossing in the free cyborg skins as well.
 
I have a feeling free skins are offered with dlc characters to help consumers justify the purchase price. Meaning I have a feeling these characters will be pretty pricey. I wouldn't be surprised at 14.99 each. Hope I'm terribly wrong.
 
I was actually hoping the klassic Cyrax and Sektor skins would be separate. I'm still not too big on Skarlet.

Why? If you don't want Skarlet, just download the free compatibility pack and you still get the costumes for nothing.
 
I wonder what Rain's moveset would be -> his lightning strike is already used by Nightwolf... and will he keep his famous roundhouse kick that throws the enemy off screen... :-D that was great...

Any news on a European release for all this DLC? 'cause the Klassic skins are still NOT OUT yet over here!! which btw sucks big doodoo
