DLC Fatalities

Is this creed200869 from the IGn boards.
If so, it's good to see ya.

If not, then welcome to TRMK anyways :-D

I have great news for you all Boon/Hans said that some DLC would be FREE!!! So we don't have to pay for everything

I don't believe that, honestly. Cliffy B promised similar and gave us one map pack for free that was littered as an advertisement for the Discovery Channel, so unless Rain is popping up as a can of Sprite, I highly doubt they can pull this off -- it's all on the publisher and Sony/MS.

There's a HUGE difference between making money to pay the bills and feed your family and cutting things from the final game to charge more for them later, AKA greed. They make more than enough money to make ends meet.

Not neccesarily. Monday Night Combat was able to push out free DLC, and Uber interactive is no where near as known as NRS.

This. If that's what they're going to do of course. I'm all for paying for DLC when they create it after the game's release.

A) Their publisher was not Warner Bros., B) Their IP was not as money-making or eye-catching as Mortal Kombat. Monday Night Combat is a fresh IP looking to attract gamers.

A better comparison would be Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, which has had three free downloadable expansion thus far. Not sure how they managed that. I predict we will see a minor free pack of DLC from MK, probably alternate costumes for a handful of popular fighters (non-retro costumes), and the rest will be pay-only.

Yeah whats up bro. I love that signature, I would love to have all those ninja's in this game at some point. The wait is killing me, I hope tomorrow is as big as they say. I have a feeling its about their game modes since Boon made that tweet that it was time to start talking about their other game modes and there was alot of exciting things to show us. Cant wait

Boon said there would definately be free DLC, how much depends on how well the game sells and we know its going to sell very well.

Thanks.
Yeah, I hope all the ninjas are in MK 9, especially Noob Saibot.
As we get closer to April 19th, I'm losing faith on that, and just not expecting to see Noob at all.

I also hope that tomorrow is big.
I'm hoping for a new stage of character reveal. Game modes would also be awesome for them to reveal.
