DLC Fatalities

Uh, that article says exactly what I just said. You will be banned for getting caught with custom firmware on XBL. Are you on a modded Xbox or something? If not you have nothing to worry about. You will have no issues just having a XBL account that doesn't belong to your territory. Microsoft does not ban consoles for that.

I did forget if you're banned they disable installing games to the hard drive. You can still save to the hard drive though.

oh for a God's sake YES! i'm on modded Xbox, because there're no OTHER xboxes in our country...dude you just don't know how everything fu*ked up...you don't really wish to...i wish you'd never know, enjoy your LIVE and be happy...peace...

...how the heck do i know? you gotta ask that our government...i wish there was a legal way to play online and download DLC content...guess you understand now why i'm praying for Sheeva to hit initial roster...

I also really doubt Xbox Live is illegal in your country either. Microsoft just doesn't support it there for various reasons.

Thats like saying the iphone is illegal in countries where it isn't sold, which is a lot of countries. Crazy talk.

...dude...you're just sticking to the wrods...it doesn't change the subject of discussion...not supported/illegal all the same... ican't freaking enjoy LIVE cause i live in freaking Ukraine ok? :|

Nah dude, I understand. In some countries it's near impossible to get legit games, and if you can they are ridiculous prices that are not affordable. I would risk it and play on live anyway lol

...FINALLY you got what i mean...now it took you so long to hear me atlast...and NO! i would gladly buy OFFICIAL xbox console (not modded) if they were sold...

Now I read all of your posts out loud in a eastern european accent.

nah...lets just change the subject of discussion, because our conversation is not going to lead to any kind of consensus, i still won't have access to LIVE service and still wherever i'm now, so there;s no point of discussing it further...this topic is for DLCs...welll lets keep it that way...let other people discuss dlcs...but seriously i don't really care :(

I believe in an interview ed boon was talking about all the different DLC ideas and he mentioned stages fatalities and alt costumes.

Wow is it just me or did the subject change really fast by the same 3-4 people?

Yes DLC stuff kinda sucks but it is worth it, some people including me like the new fatalities. I like a bit of both and if they stuck with the old ones time and time again it would get very repetitive.

you don't know the reason for those discussion do you? ...good...because in that case i won't have to go through all the same two-pages argument stuff over again...enjoy your LIVE service and be happy :|...

now that su*ks asses...i think it means no classic stuff for me...nobody cares about people without LIVE service these days...

I GUARANTEE once this game is out and sells like crazy, those klassic skins and fatalities will be FREE for DLC. They already said the amount of free DLC depends on how well the game sells and we all know its gonna sell like crazy

its not the metter of free or paid...its the metter of availability of LIVE service as a whole...the only tning i could see possible for me to get my hands on all these stuff in case if it will be released on CD and ONLY in that case...

They will not be free. Expect to pay the same amount as the Street Fighter goods, as they are the benchmark and it is Warner and Microsoft who will set the pricing. It's a cash cow, so expect to pay by the boatloads -- and rightfully so, from a business perspective. If it were my IP, I'd charge the same as they will.

Aside from the fact that I'll support DLC contents for this game (fatalities, stages, characters), I have an idea for DLC fatalities: a Kreate a Fatality contest!

This is how it would work:
1) NRS will set the rules: they'll explain how they realized the fatalities (for example: slicing points, burning effects etc.) and you'll have to post ONLY ideas that could actually be displayed with the graphic engine; it's like having a doll with removable parts and you can only play with THOSE parts;
2) users will post their ideas on the website along with optional sketches, drawings, animations etc.
3) vote your favourite fatality;
4) the winning ideas will be worked on by NRS and then made available by DLC.

I can relate to the guy from Ukraine. I'm from Costa Rica and although XBL is not illegal, is not supported. I even had to create a new e-mail account in order to register because it wouldn't accept Costa Rica as my locale.

Video games here are twice to thrice the price. Local retailers think one's stupid and STILL charge you $100 for Tomb Raider Underworld in spite the fact the game came out in 2008 (and they know the game's old but refuse to cut down the price due to "policy").

Now, I know people that work at video game stores and they all tell me that between 6 to 7 of their customers have modded 360's and Wii's.

And it doesn't stop at video games, for instance, a 4000 MS points card is around the $80 neighborhood, the XBL 12-month membership costs $90-$95 and wireless adapter is worth $180. No wonder most people here have modded consoles and/or buy used games through Amazon.

In Brazil the situation is also bad. Games are twice-thrice their original price. Consoles, the price is even worse. Only recently, PS3 was officially released by Sony here. The price, in dollars: $1200 in the current exchange rate, compared to your $300. I'm not kidding. Xbox is a little cheaper, as it's been around here officially for a longer time. But only recently XBL came officially.

With these huge prices, both for consoles and games, most people here have modded Xbox, including me, unfortunately. Yeah, I can't play online or download DLCs. Game piracy in Brazil is lowering, but that's not gonna change the situation so much, because the problem with the prices are taxes. And that's not gonna change any time soon.

That would be awesome. I would totally be down with that, as just watching Hellsing I have already thought of one for Mileena.
