Dat gameplay oh my god!!!!

I wonder who will be the "aged" characters...

I'm guessing Liu Kang, Mileena, Tanya, Johnny Cage, Sonya, and more who actually didn't die in MK9.
 
The only mortal characters I (personally) see coming back are Sonya and Johnny.
Everyone else who comes back is probably immortal / can live many years without aging or a cyborg (Ketchup and Mustard), imo.
Liu Kang will likely be a god, since he died in the events of MK9, or somehow be granted immortality.

Also, even with Cassie in MK X, MK also had Shujinko back in the day with other character's powers.
Doesn't mean they weren't in it, though.

As much as I don't wanna accept it, i think that might be true about Liu Kang. I mean, it's better than nothing. Hell he might even be the boss.

I wanna see Shujinko come back!
 
I don't see Liu Kang coming back. The Elder God's reward for winning the tournament grant him the ability to not age until the next tournament to defend his title. However this doesn't protect him from death which is why the deadly alliance was able to just kill him without doing anything extra special.

Liu can also come back via Raiden revival (aka zombie).
As much as I F***ING hated zombie Kang, maybe he can come back that way for story purposes, and 1 or 2 of his other variations of the character can be human.
Also, Raiden didn't check his pulse.
He could have survived that and just been badly injured.

I'm guessing this is a similar situation with Sub-Zero.
Somehow Noob either survived the Soulnado, or Kuai is back and Cyborg will be 1 of the character variations.

Plus, Cassie Cage huh? Wow, Johnny finally did the deed. Sonya got Caged! :cool:

Also, some of the new characters look pretty wack so far! Didn't know Outworld was capable of such creatures. Glad that they brought back Human Sub-Zero in the storyline, couldn't stand his Cyber version. His X-Ray and Fatality look chillingly brutal.

I'm kinda thinking she is going to be the replacement for both of them. Just my guess but since she's combining both of their moves, it makes sense. I really do hope the cyborgs come back and since he's saying the bad guy may be a bit of a surprise, anyone think it could be Lui Kang? I'm really hoping it's Noob though.
 
I like the idea of having 3 choices of gameplay, thus depending on what mode you chose will determine the moveset and playstyle you wanna try out.

I think I'm altering between Ninjutsu and Hellfire when playing as Scorpion. Also, I wondering how are the other veteran kombatants playstyles is gonna be like?

True...maybe there is hope cause the story line will pick up where we left off and maybe Johnny will still have a chapter ...
 
I can't wait to see Raiden. bet he looks awesome! I'm really psyched about this game. it's looking incredible. I can't wait to see Kotal Kahn in action!
 
If you pause the video of the fatality montage when scorpion is finishing his fatality on subz, you can definitely see him cutting subbys face off. There is an obvious slice going from the top of his head to underneath his chin. I cant wait to see how they show his face fall off. I also think that the new characters are very creative. We always complain about the same old same old. What NRS did, was take a risk, and you have to respect that. I am sooooo freakin amped about this game. I just finished my PC build too. I have a feeling my overclocked GTX 780 and my i7 4790K im going to have, running at 5.5 Ghz is going to make this game look unbelievable. FIGHT!!!!
