Curious to know, who else wants to see Rain as a playable fighter?

So who else is a fan of the purple-garbed ninja? You'd have to say that given that you fight him in story mode, and that Boon has hinted the possibility of a Story DLC Pack, that his inclusion in the future is highly likely. Who else wants to see it happen?

You lost me at Sindel but I would like the rest of them to return, I'm not to fond of Havik either.

Characters I want to return (in order)

1 - Smoke and Rain (I love them both equally)
2 - Fujin
3 - Skarlet
4 - Cyrax
5 - Noob
6 - Reiko
7 - Baraka

And I'd love one of those weird non real/rumoured/glitchy characters to be created, just like Ermac and Skarlet (amazing examples)

Zebron and Aquilluxborg Hydroxibot fox example lol.

MKX NPCs:
- Rain
- Fujin
- Baraka
- Sindel
- Sareena
- Smoke/Enenra

MKX Comic:
- Reiko
- Havik

MK9:
- Jade
- Skarlet

3D era games:
- Nitara
- Ashrah
- Hotaru
- Kai
- Taven

... But yeah, it's just a wishlist and so far the only realistic ones are the MKX NPC's.

I agree though, there are indeed some character concepts that I would feel is VERY out of place. And that includes a ninja with a duckbill and a zebra anthromorph in a suit.
 
Rain is a fantastic character and I hate that people always seem to have to beg for him to be included. You'd think NRS would know by now that the guy has a pretty good following. Seriously, Rain had more to do/say in MKX than Reptile, Ermac, Ferra/Torr (as much as I adore them), Kitana and even Goro.
 
ME! I LOVE HIM OMG *tears his t-shirt apart* RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN, but seriously, he is my absolute favourite character, I hope there is DLC pack two with Rain, Smoke, Fujin and either of: Reiko, Skarlet, Sareena, Havik maybe. it's surprising to me how after that initial story trailer there have been countless threads about him, people wondering if he'd be playable or not, begging for him instead of others (that were not DLC in MK9 that is). seems like the loudest demand is for him, Fujin and -weirdly- Frost and Smoke. someone said he could be offered as free DLC this time to not piss some people off for being DLC twice in a row but I doubt it with his demand. his MK9 overhaul most likely increased his fanbase much more than before but he's always an either love him tons character or absolutely hate him, I don't see indifferent people about him very often. fingers crossed for DLC!
 
I'm not a fan of his, and I would rather see some other character instead of him to have a chance to be DLC. He already had his chance with 2011, I don't think he should be DLC twice no matter how many fans of his demand for him to come back.

Rain never had a chance, though. Making him DLC in MK9 was worse than not including him at all - Simply because he should have been on the roster in the first place. Rain and his fans have been getting dicked around for a long time. It's irritating. It's not like he's Frost where there's another similar character that already exists. He's pretty unique.

And no - I'm not trying to bring you down by mentioning Frost. lol

Haha, no worries, I don't mind when someone puts my favorites down, I'm not gonna throw a hissy fit and I get what you mean. There's no other water-based fighter and the moves he has aren't used by anyone in the game. And I know that many people would like to see more characters like him rather than having another of someone.
