Cross MK Community Websites.

If you guys are serious about joining tournaments, you have two options...

1. Online, which may work best for most of you but is looked at as kind of a joke when you get to higher level play. Online tournaments are for fun and practice... and shouldn't be taken too seriously.

2. Offline, which is the best way to support MK in the fighting game community (FGC). Going to major tournaments that tie into the EVO Tournament season are the real deal. At these events you experience first hand what's it's all about and if you win or hell... if you just show up and start meeting people... it's truly an experience you are never to forget. I've been to four major tournaments within the last year and I'll tell you first hand... it's what this community needs.

^ To be taken seriously amongst the SF, Tekken, MvC, SC, etc crowd... attending the "offline" tournaments is the way to go. Many can back me on that as well.

TYM, of course, will be more than happy to assist any tournament that is being organized. That is our specialty afterall. ;)

No offense man, but I really don't see the point in the majority of your post since all it was was explaining why this whole idea was a joke. We aren't organizing a get-together tournament, we're doing online stuff. If we cared how "cool" it was to other fighting communities, we'd have said so. This is just for fun.

My mistake... I obviously meant no harm. Whatever you guys do though, I am all for it. ;)

having a judge would be great because most disputes could be resolved on the spot by this third party. i know this would be hard to do because who the hell wants to be a judge but, i think this could work even if its only for the latter matches in a ladder.

He was just trying to let you guys know how fun these major events are as well.

But I'm glad you guys are organizing this online tournament. Sounds really fun, cant wait!

Im assuming since in player matches you wait for your turn and watch the other players play (Right?! i could be wrong) that the same will go for private matches

but we'll see all in good time

Okay, Stay on topic guys.

I will represent Kamidogu if you guys choose not to include themidwayboards.com (The same Midway boards, with a new domain and look) There are not that many ACTIVE users, but it still has people who are very willing to play. However, i need the okay from the tourney supervisor.
