Question 56: Well since there's been confirmation of a Civil War in Outworld, my guess is that Kotal Kahn is a Usurper. Think Game of Thrones with the rise and fall of Robert Baratheon.

My guess is that Kotal Kahn kills Mileena and TAKES the throne for himself.
Kotal Kahn seems like the type of individual who takes what he wants, and whoever is in his way of reaching that goal will get taken out.
 
56 - I'm just going to assume with Shao Kahn gone, Kotal took the opportunity to sieze control which starts a civil war among other races.
 
I'm more curious as to why Kotal wanted the throne what were his motivations aside from being powerful and skilled enough to do it?

That seems like motivation enough for most people.
Maybe it isn't that complicated.
Fortune, fame and power have the potential to corrupt just about anyone, given the right circumstances.

yeah Shao Kahn is the perfect example

But Kotal, I get a different vibe from him. i don't get this mad with power/greedy vibe (though he could be no different from Kahn motives wise) who knows though, maybe his reasons could be connected to the jungle level, it was home to a lost civilization that Kahn probably wiped out or he may have seized the throne for reasonable motives but overtime like the emperor we know and love(hate) starts letting that same power get to his head overtime which will lead to his downfall
 
57. I think Ferra might have found Torr isolated somewhere and decided to make him her pet. Maybe she eventually grew fond of him and started to see him more as a friend.

Edit:

It would be pretty cool if NRS decides to introduce them in the game instead of the comics and have a story chapter that starts with Ferra running from someone (assassin of sorts). She could miraculously spot Torr and convinces him to save her (fight with the variation without Ferra occurs) and their story continues from there.

I think that they are good friends, kind of like Master Blaster, in the sense that 1 is the brains (Ferra) and the other is the muscle (Torr), and together they work as 1 unit.
 
57. D. Something else. More like a a relationship between a pet and its owner...with Torr being the pet and Ferra being the owner.

I just lost the counting of all questions but I really want to answer that.

When i first saw Kotal Kahn I though (and said it here), "this guy looks evil".

I even thought a civil war would grant him much blood. Well, I still think :laugh:

I just don't know why I got sympahty for him (I mean, his actions, loved the character since I saw him properly).

But what if Kotal Kahn isn't an usurper?

What if he is one of the leaders of a resistance that wants to take control of Outworld to do something...well, at the least not that bad.

I felt more sympathy when I heard abotu his dialogue with Ferra and about the #3 comic.

On the comic, Goro was Outworld's champion and he had to face Kotal Kahn.

I'm imagining we are already seeing him as a villain, when he can be, not GOOD, but that kind of neutral character that is brute, but is trying to do something good.
 
Do you think Ferra Torr are: A.) Brother and sister B.) Husband and Wife C.) Good friends D.) Something else?

- It would be cool to see them being these best of buds who have found eachother and made this awesome duo on the battlefield.

I think he was awoken from a long sleep after Shao Kahn was killed. I think it was possible that Kotal Kahn was around when Onaga was ruler of Outworld and Onaga put him away in a spell that he would be awaken when Shao Kahn is dead for good.
 
We've seen guest characters enter the world of Mortal Kombat, but what series would you like to see a Mortal Kombat character appear and who shall it be?

- I generally don't like guest characters in fighting games. But should I choose, I'd say Jade or Tanya in Killer Instinct.

Fans will hate me for saying this but I always wanted to see Scorpion as a guest fighter in the Soul series. Seeing Scorpion vs. Nightmare would be awesome. Two mascots of their own fighting franchise fight each other to the death.
